The excessive warming of the planet is preventable.

The Earth has a limited supply of natural

resources. They must conserve so that they will last as long as possible. Protecting resources from
damage and overuse is a part of conservation. Reusing and recycling products saves resources needed
to make new products. We should be limiting fossil fuels such as oil, carbon, and natural gas in favor
of renewable and cleaner energy sources while improving energy efficiency.
As students, we can help by informing their less-environmentally aware peers about the dangers of
climate change and the simple behaviors they may adopt in their daily lives to help make a difference.
