INTRUDER ALARM SENSOR WITH

LIGHT INDICATOR AND SIREN

Keen Cabalse, BSME – 2

Objectives
The objective of this project is to create a simple intruder alarm circuit that can be triggered
by a sensor and will trigger an LED light bulb and a siren to serve as notification when the sensor
is triggered. Also, this project aims to reflect the student’s knowledge and understanding on the
course taken.

Methodology
In this part, the diagram and circuit layout, materials, and assembly process of the project
will be discussed.

Process Diagram and Circuit Layout

This section respectively shows how the project will look like as much as possible, and
also the process of progression in creating the project.

Circuit Layout

Image 1: circuit design; retrieved from:[1] Homemade Circuit Projects

The image above serves as reference to the layout of the circuit connections for this project.
The project outcome should be similar to that of the image above where the circuit includes LED
lights and a siren, as well as the sensor. When the sensor is triggered it will result in the activation
of the siren and the LED lights to turn on. For this project, the sensor to be utilized is a conductor
sensor which is much accessible to the locality.

Process Diagram

The figure above outlines the process and steps of the project until completion. The
figure will determine the progress of the student with the project.
