Assessment tool that can be used to gather information in Family Case Analysis

 Interview- I think I can gather information through face to face interaction since the
location of my target family is only walking distance from home. I will ask their past
health history, genetic history related to health and illnesses and the social history if there
are something interpersonal or intrapersonal factors that can affect their health that can
cause them stress or crisis. I will also ask if there are any past diagnostic/laboratory test
done by some member of the family. Their family life experiences and their home
environment are also essential to ask in doing family case analysis.

 Observation- I can gather information about the health status of each member of the
family through observation using my different senses. I will base on what I see and hear
about what’s going on in their home environment and the signs and symptoms of their
illness or disease if there are any.

 Physical Examination- Physical examination can also help to gather information in the
family case analysis to know the health status of each member of the family. Getting their
vital signs or through IPPA examination of their different parts of the body and body
systems will do.
