1. If we could compare the Pros and Cons of Economic Globalization, Which is heavier the impact to the region? And
Why? (at least 150 words)
- Some praise globalization for opening borders and connecting cultures and politics. Others blame it for disrupting
local economies and eliminating jobs. The fact is that globalization has been around since ancient times, and it is
fully integrated into different aspects of modern life. As a consumer, your clothing, foods and electronic gadgets
are often produced by multinational companies located around the world. And as an investor, a financial advisor
could help you diversify your portfolio with emerging market funds and other foreign investments. Let’s take a
look at some of the advantages and disadvantages of globalization.
2. Since Philippines is part of the globalization, how you assess our means of transportation? (at least 50 word)
- Transportation is essential in the globalization for all countries. Transportation boosts trade in goods and
contributes to the global economy as a cluster of service sectors. It includes carriage by air, by railway and trucks,
and by sea. These advancements and innovations in telecommunications have reduced the costs of interregional
connections and the flow of information. In today's globalized economy, transportation is becoming increasingly
faster, more flexible, and more predictable within a narrow time range.

- In Pacific Asia, globalization has resulted in rapidly growing international flows of goods, portfolio capital, and direct
investments. At the same time, several countries shift from a command to market economy.
2. Explain the Kaway or cute Culture.
- It describes the culture of celebrating all things adorable as well as embracing fictional characters as the embodiment
of positivity. Kawaii can refer to items, humans and non-humans that are youthful, cute and childlike and is based on the sweet
physical features of young children and animals.
3. Site some Example of distinct characteristic of Asian Culture that makes difficult to western liberalization.
- Asia is the birthplace of many religions such as Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism,
Judaism, Shintoism, Sikhism, Taoism, and Zoroastrianism. All major religious traditions are practiced in the region and new
forms are constantly emerging.
