You are on page 1of 4

Tom, copying and pasting your doctrine, so many words in so many directions, going through human psychology

(!) and confusing so many glorious truths, yet you miss it still.

You seem to be yourself a “victim of cognitive dissonance”, seeing you are dull of hearing, and denying the truth
of Romans 6:6 : “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him”. How dull of hearing can you be? How can
you deny the Word of God to accommodate your carnal doctrine? This shows that you do not even understand
the cross of Jesus Christ and what salvation is! “KNOWING THIS, THAT OUR OLD MAN IS CRUCIFIED WITH
HIM”! Gal. 2:20 = Rom. 6:6! This is true of all born-again believers, and what empowers them to walk in the
victory is precisely “knowing this”, which is believing it! By the way, this is the work that we do: believing! That is
what the Lord Jesus taught: “Then said they unto him, What shall we DO, that we might WORK the WORKS of
God? (as you are bent on – “DO, WORK, WORKS”). Jesus answered and said unto them, THIS IS THE WORK
OF GOD: THAT YE BELIEVE ON HIM WHOM HE HATH SENT." Do you see it?

Again, the basics: it is called the “work of faith” (1 Thess. 1:3)! “For WE who HAVE BELIEVED do ENTER INTO
REST” (Heb 4:3). “For he that is entered into his rest, he also HAS CEASED FROM HIS OWN WORKS, as God
did from his” (Heb 4:10). “Let us LABOUR therefore TO ENTER into that REST, lest any man fall after the same
example of UNBELIEF.” (Heb 4:11). So here is the “make every effort”, the labour: it is the work of faith, the labour
of believing the gospel of Jesus Christ, that so that we may enter the rest of Christ. We who HAVE believed DO
ENTER into REST. I have believed and have entered into the rest of Christ. I am born of God and so I have
overcome sin and the world and Satan, being now made free from sin and being sitted in heavenly places in
Christ far above all principalities and powers and every name that can be named (Eph. 1:20, 2:6): “For
EVERYONE who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory
that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that
Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 Jn 5:4-5). “Little children, you are from God and HAVE OVERCOME them, for he
who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 Jn 4:4). God says “everyone” who has been born of him
OVERCOMES the world. The born again are the overcomers! They “overcome” (present continuous) and “have
overcome” (accomplished with enduring effects), NOT “will overcome”. It is definitive! “And this is the victory that
HAS OVERCOME the world—OUR FAITH. Who is it that OVERCOMES the world except the one who BELIEVES
that Jesus is the Son of God?”

That you say still “We don't win the victory without the sanctification process outlined in Rom ch 6”, “this process
detailed in Rom ch 6 is not automatic” shows that you have not yet believed and enter into rest, you have not
ceased from your own works, or that you are simply a babe without yet spiritual understanding, still tossed to and
fro.

In Romans 6, Paul is talking to babes in understanding: “I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity
of your flesh” / “I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations.” (Romans 6:19 KJV, ESV). He
explains to them what happened when they believed in Christ: “KNOW YE NOT... that WE ARE DEAD TO SIN...
that we who were baptized in Jesus Christ WERE baptized INTO HIS DEATH... that we ARE BURIED with Him...
that we HAVE BEEN PLANTED TOGETHER IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS DEATH AND ALSO OF HIS
RESURRECTION... that our old man IS CRUCIFIED with Him... that we are DEAD and FREED from sin...?”
(Rom 6:1-7). Know ye not? Therefore “LIKEWISE (as Jesus died to sin once and now lives unto God), RECKON
(CONSIDER) ye YOURSELVES TO BE DEAD INDEED TO SIN, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our
Lord.” (Rom 6:8-11).

You miss and twist the meaning of Rom 6:17! -> “But God be thanked, that ye WERE (in the past) the servants of
sin, but ye HAVE OBEYED FROM THE HEART (ye have BELIEVED – this is the OBEDIENCE OF FAITH) that
form of doctrine (the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ)which was delivered you (which was PREACHED to you). BEING
THEN (result! “Then”) MADE FREE from sin (accomplished action with enduring effect), ye BECAME
(accomplished) the servants of righteousness.”

And Paul by the Spirit says, “I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh” – he uses the
term “servants of/to righteousness” so that the (Roman and other) babes would understand by contrasting the
born-again state with when they WERE the servants of sin. Romans 6:17 is a statement of fact (“ye HAVE
obeyed”, “BEING then”, “ye BECAME”), not something that is progressive.

Then he concludes in Rom. 6:23 that:

- “the wages of sin is death”: you “WERE dead in your trespasses and sins, wherein IN time PAST ye WALKED”
(Eph 2:1-2) = “ye were the servants of sin”, “servants...of sin unto death” (Rom. 6:17,16);
- “but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord”: Even when we were dead in sins, HATH
QUICKENED US / MADE US ALIVE together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And HATH RAISED US UP
together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph 2:5-6). “FOR BY GRACE are ye
SAVED through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES (it is not you who do it!): it is the GIFT of God (Rom.
6:23!); Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Eph 2:8-9).

So it is because they have “OBEYED FROM THE HEART the form of doctrine that was delivered” to them – they
have BELIEVED the gospel (compare Eph 1:13) – that by this OBEDIENCE OF FAITH, they receive according to
Rom 5:17-18:
- the FREE GIFT of RIGHTEOUSNESS (result of “obedience unto righteousness” Rom. 6:16; “being justified
FREELY by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ
Jesus” Rom 3:24);
- and of ETERNAL LIFE (“justification of life” Rom. 5:18) -> “These things have I written unto you that believe on
the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW THAT YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may believe on the
name of the Son of God.” (1 Jn 5:13).

And these are the very words of the Lord Jesus: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me HAS
EVERLASTING LIFE.” (Jn 6:47). It is by the grace, and it is received by faith when one believes in Jesus and gets
born again of the Spirit. It is a SWITCH: “he is PASSED FROM death TO LIFE” -> “Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that HEARS my word, and BELIEVES on him that sent me, HAS EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come
into condemnation; but IS PASSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE.” (Jn 5:24).

It is by faith in Jesus that we receive His wisdom, His righteousness, His sanctification, and His redemption: these
are the results of the obedience of the heart to the gospel, the obedience of faith! “But of him are ye in Christ
Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1 Cor. 1:30).
So “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, YE HAVE YOUR FRUIT unto holiness, and
the end everlasting life.” (Rom 6:22). Again, a statement of fact (“NOW BEING”, “and BECOME”, “YE HAVE”),
something progressive! This holiness is not a protracted process that you finally achieve one day after having
worked hard at it to crucify your flesh! It is the “FRUIT” of "our old man IS CRUCIFIED with Him", of “NOW being
MADE FREE from sin AND BECOME servant of God/righteousness”. This holiness is the fruit of having
believed/received Christ who is our sanctification and who gives us eternal life!

It is him who sanctifies us and presents us holy and blameless and without reproach before him:
- Wherefore Jesus also, that HE might SANCTIFY THE PEOPLE with his own BLOOD, suffered without the gate.
(Heb 13:12);
- To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they
may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are SANCTIFIED BY FAITH THAT IS IN ME.
(Acts 26:18);
- By the which will WE ARE SANCTIFIED THROUGH the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE. For by one
offering he hath perfected for ever THOSE THAT ARE SANCTIFIED. (Heb 10:10,14)
- And such were some of you: but ye are WASHED, but YE ARE SANCTIFIED, but ye are JUSTIFIED in the
name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Cor 6:11)

If you do not believe this, you do not believe the witness of God, you make him a liar, and you do not have the
witness in yourself (1 Jn 5:10-11). And you are testifying against yourself that you do not have life, and are still in
the process of receiving it, which means you are not born again, and Christ is not formed in you! As a child is
formed in the womb of his mother, and when he is formed completely, then he is born, likewise when one receives
the incorruptible seed of the living Word of God in a good ground (see parable of the grounds in Mk 4, Lk 8),
mixing it with faith, then the Holy Spirit does the operation of God and births them into the Kingdom of God:
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but
of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (1 Pet 1:23) “Who has delivered us from
the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Col. 1:13).

This is where you must repent (gk. “metanoia”) = change your thoughts to the thoughts of God, renew your mind
to the mind of Christ, for I perceive your mind is blinded to the Word of Christ. You read it, yet seeing you see not;
hearing you hear not, neither do you understand. You may claim to have repented of your sins, but until you turn
from your own thoughts and carnal doctrines to the thoughts and pure doctrine of Christ, you have not repented.
Paul was “blameless” regarding the righteousness of the law, yet he had to repent! By the grace of God, his heart
turned from the law to Christ, and the veil was taken away (2 Cor 3:14-16, Gal. 1:15-16). Humble yourself before
the Word of Christ (e.g. Rom. 6:6), give up your carnal understanding and the doctrines of men, and receive from
Himself the doctrine of Christ.
You are contradicting yourself and repeatedly doing what you accuse me of, “creating false arguments in order to
correct something I never said”.
Your contradictions:
- We (who were baptized into Christ) are indeed "in Christ", dead to sin, alive to God, but we must "crucify the
sinful nature"
- “I never said that we crucify our flesh daily, or that it is something that we do ourselves by our own initiative.”
- “You admit that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh, that shows that they had to do something,
THEY crucified their flesh through their union with Christ and by the Holy Spirit.”

So you say “we must crucify the sinful nature”, but then that you “never said that is something that we do
ourselves by our own initiative”, but again that “they had to do something, THEY crucified their flesh through their
union with Christ and by the Holy Spirit”? How confused can you be! And how can you twist the Word of God like
this? Gal. 5:24 = Rom. 6:6 = Gal. 2:20 = Rom 8:9. And I am appalled that you call yourself a teacher yet would
say that “Not all who believe on the name of God's son Jesus Christ are automatically sons of God” and “Not
everyone who believes in Christ becomes a son of God, but we are given the power to become children of God.”
This is incredibly twisted and full of confusion. This is denying the doctrine of Christ! This shows that you do not
even have the foundation:
- “Beloved, NOW ARE WE THE SONS OF GOD, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John 3:2)
- “And BECAUSE YE ARE SONS, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but A SON; and IF A SON, THEN AN HEIR of God through Christ.”
(Galatians 4:6-7)

To be born again as a son of God through Christ is the beginning of life in the Kingdom of God. It is where the
apostles by the Spirit began their epistles! No one has the Spirit of God if he is not a son of God! You say “Not
everyone who believes in Christ becomes a son of God, but we are given the power to become children of God.”
That is a lie! Those who believe in Christ have received the adoption of sons by the new birth and are sealed by
the Holy Spirit! This is the beginning.
- “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also AFTER
THAT YE BELIEVED, YE WERE SEALED WITH that HOLY SPIRIT of promise” (Eph 1:13)
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy HATH
BEGOTTEN US AGAIN unto a lively hope BY THE RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3)
- “But as many as RECEIVED him, to them gave he power to BECOME THE SONS OF God, even to THEM
THAT BELIEVE on His name: WHICH WERE BORN, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of
man, but OF GOD” (John 1:12-13).
- “Having predestinated us unto the ADOPTION OF CHILDREN BY JESUS CHRIST TO HIMSELF, according to
the good pleasure of his will... IN WHOM ALSO WE HAVE OBTAINED AN INHERITANCE, being predestinated
according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will” (Ephesians 1:5,11)
- “To REDEEM them that were under the law, that we might RECEIVE THE ADOPTION OF SONS. AND
BECAUSE YE ARE SONS, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, ABBA, FATHER...”
(Gal. 4:5-6)

Don’t build a doctrine outside by twisting the Word of God to fit your carnal understanding! This is what is wrong
with the types of babes who are puffed up with knowledge, yet knowing nothing, who build doctrines on some
particular verses instead of the whole counsel of God, dismiss all the verses that contradict their doctrine (such as
Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 22:13), and then run around trying to push their doctrine. And you call others very prideful,
lovers of arguing, unteachable, and wrong! “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not
notice the log/beam that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of
your eye,' when there is the log/beam in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and
then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.”

I do not receive those who come not with the doctrine of Christ, but with their vain jangling: “As I urged you when I
was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may CHARGE CERTAIN PERSONS NOT TO TEACH
ANY DIFFERENT DOCTRINE. The aim of our charge/instruction is love that issues from a pure heart and a good
conscience and a sincere faith. Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into VAIN
DISCUSSION, desiring to be teachers of the law, WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING either what they are saying or
the things about which they make confident assertions. Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither
what they say, nor whereof they affirm.” (1 Tim 1:3,5-7).

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine
of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive
him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil
deeds." (2 Jn 1:9-11)

Who are the enemies of the cross, the dogs, the evil workers, the concision? -> Those who deny the finished work
of Christ as revealed in the gsopel, those who oppose the new testament way of God dealing with His people and
hold to the old way of things, those who put confidence in their own efforts to become what Christ has done and
can only be received and not achieved.

Grace is a person, not something. Jesus Christ is the grace of God manifested. I do not pray for Him. I have
RECEIVED Him in His fullness. He teaches me everyday, He guides me in the path of righteousness, and I hear
His voice, being his sheep:
- "For the grace of God that brings salvation HAS APPEARED to all men, TEACHING US that, denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that
blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for
us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."
(Titus 2:11-14).

You cannot teach anyone to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live soberly, righteously and godly. That's
what you babes who run around think you can do. Only the grace of God, Jesus Christ, teaches us:
- "If so be that ye have heard him, and HAVE BEEN TAUGHT BY HIM, as the truth is in Jesus" (Ephesians 4:21)
- "for ye yourselves are TAUGHT OF GOD to love one another." (1 Thess 4:9)
- "It is written in the prophets, And THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD. Every man therefore that hath heard,
and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me." (Jn 6:45)
- "And ALL THY CHILDREN shall be TAUGHT OF THE LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children."
(Isaiah 54:13)
- "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my
laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
And THEY SHALL NOT TEACH every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for
all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. (Heb 8:10-11).

And I abide forever in the holiest, in the throne room, having been planted in the sanctuary, and I serve God in my
spirit day and night (Exo. 15:17; Ps. 52:8, 92:13; Jer. 17:12, Rev. 7:15).

I actually believe what the Word of Christ says Christ has made me, and I have entered into rest. I do not struggle
with sin, it has no power over me. If you do struggle with sin, then you are still under the law, under the power of
the spirit that works in the sons of disobedience. As for me, I am a son, not a servant. And I have the Spirit of God
and of Christ who makes me an obedient son and who works in me mightily to produce his glorious fruit. I do not
struggle to bear fruit. That is nonsense. I simply bear fruit in abundance, for I am a tree of righteousness planted
in the river of the Spirit of life, in the likeness of Christ. And the LORD increases the fruit of my righteousness
continually, more and more. It is done.

Beware that you do not be of those "unlearned and unstable" who "wrest the scriptures", as mentioned by the
Spirit through the apostles:

"And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to
the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in
which are SOME THINGS HARD TO BE UNDERSTOOD, which they that are UNLEARNED AND UNSTABLE
WREST/TWIST, AS THEY DO ALSO THE OTHER SCRIPTURES, UNTO THEIR OWN DESTRUCTION." (2 Peter
3:15-16)

"For unto us a CHILD is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and HIS
NAME shall be called WONDERFUL, COUNSELLOR, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE
PRINCE OF PEACE." (Isaiah 9:6)

Watch that you do not take away from the words of the book of this prophecy.

"Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I AM THE
ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE LAST, THE BEGINNING AND THE END." (Revelation 22:12-
13).
