2. What are the equilibrium price and quantity in this market?

The equilibrium price of this market is 35 and the equilibrium quantity is 100. The equilibrium is the only price
where the quantity is 100. The equilibrium is the only price where quantity demanded is equal to quantity supplied .

3. If the actual price in this market were above the equilibrium price, what would drive the market toward
equilibrium?

If the market price is above the equilibrium price, quantity supplied is greater than quantity demanded, creating a
surplus. Market plus will fall.

4. If the actual price in this market were below the equilibrium price, what would drive the market toward
equilibrium?

If the actual price in this market were below the equilibrium price then the quantity demanded would be greater
than the quantity supplied creating a shortage. Therefore, suppliers will raise their prices without losing sales,
which drive the market toward equilibrium.
