TEACHER’S INSTRUCTIONS
Tell students (in pairs) that they will first ask and answer questions. Allocate students A or B and give them time
to think of questions. A should ask B questions first. Let them begin by instructing them:

(Candidate A), please ask your questions to Candidate B.

(Candidate B), please answer the questions (use names). Candidate B should answer the questions.

Then, they should change.

(Candidate B), please ask your questions to Candidate A.

(Candidate A), please answer the questions.

Check that students are asking and answering questions and that communication is achieved (the question
is understandable and the answer is appropriate).

At the end, thank the students and tell them they can leave.
