SUB: DIRECT RECRUITMENT 2020: REVISED DATE FOR CLOSING OF ONLINE RECEIPT OF
APPLICATION AND PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE AND RELAXATION IN CONDITION OF SECURING
MINIMUM 75% MARKS IN 12TH CLASS EXAMINATION FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR SECRETARIAT
ASSISTANT FOR EX-SERVICEMEN AND PwD CATEGORY CANDIDATES REGARDING.

Please refer to this office advertisement on the subject cited above published in various newspapers
from 17.03.2020 to 21.03.2020 f ll ed b c igend m l aded n DDA eb i e herein it was
mentioned that closing date of receipt of online applications and last date for depositing application fee will
be 30.04.2020 upto 06.00 PM and 04.05.2020 upto 06:00 PM respectively.
Owing to outbreak of COVID-19 and difficulty faced by the aspiring candidates in filling/ submission
of application form, the competent authority is pleased to extend the closing date for receipt of online
applications and last date for depositing application fee upto 15.05.2020 (06.00 PM) and 20.05.2020 (06:00
PM) respectively.

Secondly, the condition of securing 75% marks in 12th class examination for the post of Junior
Secretariat Assistant is relaxed for ex-servicemen and PwD category candidates to get more applications to
ensure fair competition. However, if number of applications received are more than 100 times of vacancies
earmarked for ex-servicemen and in any sub-category of PwD category, the candidates will be called for
written examination restricted to 100 times of vacancies on the basis of marks secured in 12th class with 5%
extra marks given to candidate who have qualified 12th class from CBSE and ICSE Boards.
However, the crucial date for determining the eligibility i.e. age limit, qualification etc. shall be
the closing date for receipt of applications as was notified earlier i.e.30.04.2020 and will remain
unchanged. No request for change in date for determining eligibility shall be entertained.

Kind attention is invited to this office advertisement no. 01/2020/ Rectt. Cell/ DDA appeared
in the Hindustan Hindi & Punjab Kesari (17.03.2020), Times of India (18.03.2020) and
Employment News (21.03.2020) vide which applications were invited for filling up various posts
in different cadres. In the said notification, date and time of opening of online registration was
mentioned as 23.03.2020 (10:00 AM).
Further, owing to current situation of Coronavirus outbreak, the said link cannot be opened
on the scheduled date and time. The revised schedule of opening/ closing of the link is detailed
as under:
