4. Standard Operasional Prosedure/SOP
1
No Action
1 Prepare tools
Make sure all the equipment is fully available. By the way the officers are re-checking the equipment
that will be brought into the patient's room, by checking one by one of the equipment that will be
carried on the trolley. The trolley is filled with instruments, gloves, nacl fluids, blood transfusions.

2 Alerting the patient and explaining the purpose
a. greeted the patient in a soft, kind voice while gazing into the client's eyes
b. (good morning/afternoon/evening)
c. introduce yourself inspector: (my name is inspector inspector I'm in charge of today's
assignment with a soft and gentle voice.)

3 Bring the tools next to the patients bed
a. pushing the equipment closer to the patient's bed

4 Keep the client privacy

Prepare the next fluid sac,(according to need) and prepare blood bags according to patient's needs
9 Performing an action procedure
a) before blood is removed and taken, it is given first, nacl fluids, 0.9% of the drops, all
consistent with doctor advis.
b) replace the iv fluids first, using nacl solution 0.9% and then drawing on the doctor's advan.
The left hand holds the clamp and then turns it off by dragging it down. After that check
whether or not the drip stops. Replace the first bag with a 0.9% kick off on the doctor's advan.
c) Asa blood harvest, take 3cc's blood from the mediket before the nacl fluids are extracted and
passed on. Open the spuit 3cc, then insert it on the mediket. pull it slowly until the blood flows
into the lock, take as much as 3cc. After we finish the hose and set the nacl drip for the advis
doctor. The blood extracted from the mediket as much as 3cc has been stamped on by the
rights to the client's name and age, the registration number, the infirmary, date and blood
extraction.
d) proper and proper blood requisition forms are then promptly sent along with blood samples to
the blood bank.
e) go a head and record the results of observing vital signs and make sure the client feels
comfortable and the in.9% infuse nacl runs smoothly.
f) note the temperature, the way you take the tremometer, you place it on the axis and you wait
for the results in five minutes.
g) pulse, take a watch attach your finger, on px and count for 1 full minute.

• adjust etiquette in a blood bag to the client's identity. Look at px's name and the address
before it was given to px
• ensure that blood temperature matches normal body temperature (room temperature) when
the blood temperature is not properly treated, so let the blood outside the refrigerator at least
least - less than 30 minutes should not be shaken. Touch our hands to see if blood temperature
is the same or not to our body temperature.
• replace 0.9% nacl drip with aseptic and connect to blood bags. The part from the trolley
picks up alcohol tray one time, just rub it clockwise. Then it just replaced the inuse nacl 0.9%
fluid with blood bags.
j) configure blood droplets initial blood velocity should be 2-5 cc's per minute. Next up:
• when cells-blood cells are given 1.5 to 2 hours.
• full daesan 2 to 3 hours.
k) make sure the patient feels comfortable with the service bell lies within the client's reach. /
there's a family waiting to be ready to report to the officer should anything happen to any
possible side effects that could happen to the client.
l) if your own mother (mother nearby/mother has a bell if you feel such signs as: claustrophobia,

m) if there is a family waiting for you if it gets stuffy, hot, shivering, dizzy, nauseated, itch-an itch

n) after 15 minutes reexamine the patient's vital signs (such as above). Then every 30 minutes and
every hour until the blood runs out.
o) After the blood comes in, it'll be replaced by a 0.9% nacl to clean the hose and put the plastic
bag on the plastic bag to return to the blood bank.
p) after the transfusion is complete with gloves (procedure like above) off the set of tranfusion,
the needle is extracted from the pressure with alcohol cotton, closing with sterile gauze and
plaster.
q) dispose of all materials in the areas provided. The infuse set of wet medical waste

f) request permission to leave the room and offer to call if the patient suddenly needs help say
hello and get well, with a friendly smile.
g) say thank you before leaving the room

11 Clean out appliances, dispose of waste products in place and disinfect the equipment in a chlorine
solution of 0.5% for 10 minutes
