PART 1 – GENERAL
B. Basic electrical materials and methods, section 16050 applies to work of this section.
A. Work includes providing all materials, equipment, accessories, services and tests
necessary to complete and make ready for operation by the Owner, all miscellaneous
control equipment in accordance with Drawings and Specifications.

PART 2 - PRODUCTS
A. GENERAL
5. With arc shields and magnetic blow coils if interrupting duty exceeds 300
ampere.
6. Interrupting capability not less than six times rated full load current.
1. Spring assisted gravity open on normally open contacts and spring loaded
magnetically open in normally closed contacts.
B. Open and close coils rated 220 volts or 380 volts, 50 Hz, unless otherwise indicated or
required.
A. The centralized emergency system shall be a computerized system for the control of
self-contained emergency exit luminaries via a periodically and automatically testing
the luminaries system efficiency.
B. The system shall be remotely controlled using PC and printer and shall be linked to
the BEMS.
D. The microprocessor unit shall include a set of batteries to allow it to continue running
the system during the electricity failure (black - out).
E. The system shall check the autonomy of the luminaries corresponds to their rated
autonomy.

C. Protect miscellaneous control equipment systems from dirt, moisture and construction
debris subsequent to and during installation until project is accepted by Owner.
D. Tighten connectors and terminals, including screws and bolts, in accordance with
equipment manufacturer's published torque tightening values for equipment
connectors.
E. Mount all equipment in cabinets suitable for installation with all necessary bus bars
and terminal strips. Separate low and high voltage sections with barriers.
F. Provide all wiring, conduit and accessories including but not limited to terminal strips,
rectifiers, switches, and fuses for systems to perform intended function.
