neighbourhood; and thoughtfully designed residences that
for buildings. Homes where people love to live. are purposeful, spacious, light-filled, tranquil, and sustainable—
evoking a sense of ‘home’.
Places where people belong.” Across a limited collection of exquisite residences, Windsor
Glen Slimmon Park has been conceived as an inner-city sanctuary, designed
Director, Sinclair Brook as a series of smaller buildings over three levels for a more
human-scale experience. Canopy landscaping surrounds the
perimeter giving privacy and anchoring each residence into its
parkside context. A central courtyard offers a tranquil space
for residents extending the park experience into the building.
Timeless materiality adds layers of richness and elegance
to the architecture with an edited palette of concrete, warm
metals and neutral brick.

Two and three bedroom and Penthouse layouts are

generously proportioned and cleverly planned offering
multiple aspects. Floor-to-ceiling windows and circular voids
frame views to private landscaped gardens, over treetops
and to the city skyline. Parkside residences offer dual-aspect
and floor-through living for natural cross-flow ventilation.
The interior palette reflects a warm neutrality. Earth tones,
concrete, and soft timber in combination with sophisticated
detailing creates crafted interior environments, a shift from
traditional luxury towards thoughtful design.

Windsor Park is a living vision for Sinclair Brook. And we are

proud to work hand-in-hand with our joint venture partner

A conversation with Scott Leung

Director, Eckersley Garden Architecture

Taking cues from the native plants, deciduous trees and

lush evergreens surrounding the site, Eckersley has created
a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor worlds at
Windsor Park.

Native foliage frames and filters the view of Windsor Park from
a street-level perspective, while a spacious ‘Japanese-inspired’
central courtyard provides a contemplative space for residents.
Each garden space has been designed as an extension of the
building, taking advantage of the volume of light and space.

A garden is somewhere that is constantly evolving, and

Eckersley’s inspiration was to create a green sanctuary unlike
any other place; somewhere that will calm, uplift and inspire.

34 35 In a considered response to the design brief for Windsor
Park, Jackson Clements Burrows knew they wanted to craft
an architectural response that connected the built form to its
leafy surrounds.

The enduring form, interpreted as a series of smaller buildings,

is separated by pockets of greenery. Vertical breaks along
both street interfaces create shadow lines between the
architectural form, changing the macro to micro for a more
human-scale experience. Sensitive landscaping to the
neighbouring reserve evokes an escape from urban life.

Timeless materiality adds a layer of richness and delight to

the architecture, with the use of concrete offset by lightweight,
metallic panelling. With sustainability a key consideration,
the planning of the apartments maximises opportunities
for natural daylight, cross-flow ventilation and dual-aspect
amenity. A generous internal courtyard offers a sculptural,
contemplative space for residents to enjoy, extending the

to maximise views, while floor-to-ceiling windows allow
sweeping vistas over the treetops and towards the city

and connection to the sky, nature and trees. This unifying
motif is echoed spectacularly throughout the building.

Director, Hecker Guthrie

Modern—
Creating homes where the feelings speak louder than
the furnishings is a Hecker Guthrie speciality.

In creating the interior spaces for Windsor Park, Hecker

Guthrie shifts the emphasis away from the traditional notion
of luxury towards sophisticated design and meticulous detail.
At Windsor Park, quality and sophistication is embedded
into the foundation of the home — within its design and
detail — so that it resonates for generations.
