REMARKS: AP 11359
It is likely to be fine-sized kaolinitic clay.
Before firing its breaking load values are good in green but unacceptable after drying; a big expansion is noticed after drying.
After firing the material shows refractory features with slight dimensional shrinkage and unacceptable breaking load values.
A tendency of the material to lamination when pressed and to cracks on the fired pieces must be noticed.
No black core.
