CFC HOUSEHOLD Prayer Meeting Guide:

1. Sign of the Cross

2. Opening Prayer and Adoration.

Let us glorify our God, the King above all kings, our Good Shepherd,
King the Redeemer, Loving Father God Almighty, hallelujah to our King, we praise
You and exalt You. It is You who gave us life and this opportunity to gather here, to
give You thanks for all the blessings that You have been giving in spite of our
stubbornness and shortcomings. You said that two or three gather in My Name I
will be in their midst. Father we claim that You are here in each one of us. Loving
Father we sincerely ask You to send Your Holy Spirit to each one of us and enkindle
our hearts as we sing praises to You (Sing at least one fast song and one slow song with
praise in tongues every after song.)

3. Contrition
Father, we ask You to bless us in spite of our stubbornness. We are not
even worthy to praise You because most of the times we did not follow Your
commandments. But we know that we do not have choice and nowhere to go but
to You and to You alone. Lord, for all the shortcomings and failure to follow Your
commandments, please have mercy on me (Group answers “Have mercy on us Oh Lord”)

4. Thanksgiving
Loving Father, You know how joyful and grateful we are because of
what we are now and what You want us to be. We glorify and thank You Father for
giving us also the time and strength to gather here in the house of Bro _____ and
Sis ______. We believe that You sent us here for a mission that is to love You with
all our hearts and our minds and to love one another just how You love us. You
said Oh Lord, that two or three gathered in Your name, You will be present in the
midst of them. Father we firmly believe that You are here around us and in our
hearts. For this Lord I praise You and I thank You (Group answers “ We praise You and
thank You Lord”)

5. Supplication
Lord You said that “knock and it will be open, ask and it will be given”,
so in spite of our unworthiness Lord, we ask You to bless us, this community, all
the couples, and all children that they may continue the work that You have set on
us. For this Lord please hear my prayers (Group answers “Please hear our prayers”)

6. Bible Reading
Use the Gospel or the Reading for the day.

7. Closing Prayer
This can be done after the group sharing and can be integrated with blessing over
meals.
