COMPRESSOR WATER WASH ISOLATION LIST

1. Close flame detector cooling water line isolation valves (X2)

2. Open exhaust plenum main wash water drain valves (X3)
3. Open the drain valve adjacent to the inlet plenum drain valve [NC].
4. Open inlet plenum drain valve (BV140) [NC]
5. Close drain valve (HV120) after 20TW-1 [NC].

8. Close 96CD-1B isolating valve (HV403) [NO]
9. Close 96CD-1C isolating valve (HV405) [NO]
10. Close HV200 valve [NO]: installed in AD-2 line supplying compressor discharge air to
false start drain valves. (VA17-1 & VA17-2)
11. Close HV400 valve [NO]: installed in the AD-4 line supplying compressor discharge air
to the pressure transducers (96CD-1A, 96CD-1B & 96CD-1C).
12. Close BV120 valve [NO]: installed in the AD-1 line supplying compressor discharge air
to 20CB-1 for bleed valves control.
13. Close BV300 valve [NO]: installed in the AD-3 line supplying compressor discharge air
(CA5) to Air Processing Unit (APU) or self cleaning inlet air filter.
14. Open compressor discharge casing low point drain valve [NC].
15. Close BV110 valve [NO]: compressor stage 11 (AE-11) sealing air line isolation valve.
16. Close BV100 valve [NO]: Installed in compressor stage 5 (AE-5) bearing sealing air
supply line.
17. Open BV102 valve [NC]: Bearing sealing air separator drain valve (blow down valve).
18. Open BV101 valve [NC]: Low point drain valve on bearing sealing air line (AE-5 piping
low point drain valve).
19. Close VM15-1 isolation valve [NO]: Inlet bleed heat (IBH) manual isolation valve.
20. Close VM15-1 motorized valve.
21. Switch “ON” offline compressor offline water wash motorized valve (20TW-1) MCB in
the PEECC.
22. 88TK-1&2 to be switched “ON” manually if there don’t switch on automatically when
water wash startup command is initiated.
23. Note: during de-isolation, HV120 [NC] (drain valve after 20TW-1) should be open for
some seconds and close back after compressor water wash to drain water from the spray
manifold.
