TRAVEL ITINERARY:

DAY 1: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP STATION TO GANGTOK.

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport you will be met by our representative and drive to
Gangtok. Check in at hotel. Evening is free at leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at
Gangtok.

DAY 2: GANGTOK TO CHANGU LAKE WITH BABA MANDIR (EXCURSION)

After breakfast start for an excursion to Changu Lake (12,400 ft.) & New Baba Mandir
(13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms from Gangtok city. This serene lake is situated at an altitude
of 12,000 ft. on the Gangtok Nathu La highway. The lake is oval in shape, 15 meters
deep and is considered sacred by the local people. It is also a home of brahminy ducks.
It's cool, placid water harmonizes with the scenic beauty around. This placid lake remains
frozen during the winter months up to mid-May. Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is
nearly 20 kilometers further and is an optional tour. Prior permission is required to visit
Nathu La Pass. Extra cost applies for extended tour to Nathu La. Evening free to roam
around M G Road (Mall)/local Shopping at Gangtok. Dinner & Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 03: GANGTOK – LACHUNG (122 KMS / 6 HRS)

After breakfast pick up from hotel & transfer to Lachung (9,800 ft.). Enroute visit Singhik
View point, Seven Sister Water Fall, Naga Water Fall, and arrive Lachung by evening.
Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at Lachung .

DAY 04: LACHUNG – YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION

After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). On
the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties.
Also you can visit to Zero Point which stands at an altitude of 15,300 ft above mean sea
level. It happens to be the last outpost of civilisation and the place where three rivers
meet amid a panoramic view of snow-clad mountains and picturesque surroundings.
Since it is located very close to the International border between India and China, visitors
need permission to come here. It takes tourists about 1.5 hours to reach here from
Yumthang Valley, which is 25 km away, and about 3 to 3.5 hours from Lachung. After
reaching here, there are no civilian roads beyond and that is why it is called Zero Point.
Though the roads can be treacherous, driving here is worth the reward of beautiful and
pristine mountain sights. If you're lucky, you can also spot a yak in the snow. Zero Point
hardly has any green stretches of land, except those that become visible when the snow
melts. Back to resort. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Note: Zero point will be charged extra and can be paid locally to driver. Appro cost 3000
per vehicle

DAY 05 : TRANSFER TO DARJEELING

After breakfast start continue your travel to Darjeeling . Travel time is 4-5 hrs. Evening
free leisure activities. Overnight at Hotel in Darjeeling.

DAY 6: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

3 points: 4am- 8am. Early morning tour to tiger hills (at around at 4 am) to morning
view sunrise over Kanchenjunga peak (subject to clear weather) on your way back visit
Batasia loop & ghoom monastery.
7 points: 9:30am-3:00pm. After breakfast city tour of Darjeeling visit Padmaja Naidu
Himalaya zoological park & Himalayan mountaineering institute (closed on Thursday), tea
garden, Tenzing rock, Tibetan refugee self – help center (closed on Sunday), Japanese
temple, peace pagoda & ropeway. Dinner & Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 7: DEPART FROM DARJEELING (NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT)

After breakfast, check-out from hotel on time and Return drive from Darjeeling to NJP or
Bagdogra airport. Trip ends Darjeeling – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (100 kms / 3-4 hrs.
drive)
