SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Bagdogra - Gangtok (02 Nights) – Darjeeling (02 Nights) - Bagdogra

Day 01 Arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport & Transfer to Gangtok (Approx. 125 Kms / 4 ½ Hrs.)

On your arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be met by our official representative outside the Airport or Railway
Station and he will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok. Gangtok is the most visited spot of India. Upon arrival, check into hotel. Overnight stay at
Gangtok.

About Gangtok
Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital
of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers
organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Day 02 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass Optional Extra)

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for the excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometers. The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet
deep. Generally covered in snow for most of the year. This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds. Nearby is the sacred Baba
Mandir known to be a very holy site for all. Back to Gangtok & evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided).

Day 03 Gangtok Half Day Sightseeing & Transfer to Darjeeling

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive for visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery,
White Hall, Flower Show, etc. Later, transfer to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

About Darjeeling
Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the
narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its
surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.

Day 04 Darjeeling Local Sightseeing (Including Tiger Hill)

Early Morning at 04.00 am will move towards tiger hill. It is famous for its panoramic view of Mount Everest and MT Kanchenjunga together and early
morning sunrise. On the way back to hotel, visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast will have sightseeing which includes, Japanese temple, Peace pagoda, Ava art gallery, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan
Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway, Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sunday).
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 05 Departure Transfer to IXB Airport or NJP Railway Station

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive towards Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station.

downhill and in a stationed vehicle (not moving).

 The driver would adhere as per the local state / transport rules and regulations for audio- visual systems applicable for commercial vehicles.
 Please note that the standard working time of the driver is 8 am to 5 pm, however they shall be available anytime for genuine requirements.
 A Hill station has a restriction on the accessibility of the vehicle at certain places. The driver will drop you to the closest point possible adhering the
traffic rules.
 In case you are taking dinner outside the hotel premises, the driver will only be taking you to that restaurant which is under a limit of 2-3
kilometers from the hotel.
 The transport calculation is based on general usage of the vehicle for 8 hours/ 80 kilometers for local sightseeing. In case the vehicle is used after
8:30 PM, night allowance of Rs.350 to be paid to the driver on the same day.
 Standard check in time is 2 pm and check out time is 12 pm at these hotels. Early check in and late checkout will be subject to availability of rooms.
 The above mentioned itinerary is just a tentative itinerary, which would give you a brief on the sightseeing places which would be covered at each
destination. The final itinerary would change depending on your arrival and departure details.
 Vehicles may have limited access to certain sightseeing spots and monuments and the driver shall drop you to the closest point possible and from
there on the guest would have to hire e rickshaw or battery operated rickshaw and the charges against the same needs to be borne by the guest
unless specified.
