You are my hero

1. Who is/are your hero/es? What make he/she/they your hero/es?

Not all heroes wear capes and not all of them wear medical scrubs either. For me my
heroes are the food delivery drivers, supermarket workers, security guards and many
more. They were the unnoticed heroes besides the health care workers and police
officers who were also on the front lines of the corona virus pandemic. How could we
last long for two (2) months inside our house without them? They also risked their lives
and the health of their families too.

2. What has/have she/he/they have done before, now and especially during this
pandemic time?

Usually the supermarket workers have provided services to the people of the
communities, the food that we bought in our day to day living. Food delivery drivers are
the one who delivers food at our doorsteps. They have rendered their services in spite
of the low wages they have receive.

During this this trying times and uncertainties, these workers have risked their lives to
the invisible enemies while completing important task and perform their obligations in
order to serve the needs of the people without hesitation that sometimes this people we
tend to disregard. They continue to serve us in order for us to stay at home.

We should also make efforts to appreciate them so that they can feel that they are
needed. By just a simple word of thanks, a sincere smile or a tap on their shoulder that
they are appreciated.
