FEDERATION ENLISTED

RANK INSIGNIA
Federation enlisted military personnel wear the cloth insignia below on the upper sleeve of the dress
uniform. On the duty uniform, small metal or cloth versions are worn on the collar. On combat
uniforms, the insignia are small and in muted colors. National guard personnel wear the same
insignia as Marines (if ground troops) or naval personnel (if they serve on ships), but the insignia
are black in both cases. The E7 in National Guard ground units is known as a Sergeant First Class;
only the Marines use the title “gunnery sergeant”. Copyright © 2005 Amarillo Design Bureau, Inc.
