I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, student should be able to:
 Identify the patterns of naming ordinal numbers.
 Use the pattern of naming ordinal numbers in real life situation.

II. SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: Pattern of Naming Ordinal Numbers
References: MELC, Math-2-Q1-WEEK 5
Materials: Calendar, Pictures, chart, and flashcards.
Strategy: I have 4 strategies in teaching first is Direct Instruction, second is Interactive
Instruction, third is Experiential learning and the last one is Independent Study.

their position, if ten people ran in a race,
we would say that the person that ran
fastest was the first place(1st), the next

Get ¼ sheet of paper and answer
the following question.
1. Ordinal number after 1st?
2. Ordinal number between 5th and
7th?
3. Ordinal numbers before 9th?

5. Ordinal number after 9?

F. ASSIGNMENT
In a whole sheet of paper write the
ordinal numbers of 11th to 30th.
