Task 12: PHQA # 12- Positive Consequences of Test

1. As a student, what is your common reaction when your teacher announces a quiz?

I stayed calm and focus, quiz is a normal thing that teacher do, so when you studied
well you have nothing to worry, but if I didn’t study my reaction will be shock, nervous
and at the time worried for the result.

2. Do you feel better? Why?

Yes, I feel better when there is a quiz, because I know that I will learn something
from it. And even I will get low score it’s okay the important is I did my best and I
learn from my mistake.

3. Is there a positive consequence of test to students?

Yes, because testing improves memory more than mere exposure to material, and it
helps me understand what facts that might I not know. So, I can say that testing has
a big help to the learners.

4. If yes, how will you manifest such? Cite an example.

For example, when you are teaching students to raise their hand to answer a
question, you can give them a point like every answer equivalent to 10 points when
they do so.

5. As a teacher, what is your common reaction when your principal announces an

evaluation?

I will be happy because it will enhance teacher practices and improve effectiveness
in the field of teaching. And this will lead to improved students learning and
achievement.

6. Do you feel better? Why?

Yes, I feel better after the evaluation because I learn something from it that I can
apply to my work and to my students.

7. Is there a positive consequence of evaluation to teachers?

Yes, because evaluation improve the performance of teachers by evaluating them at

regular intervals of time and a teacher performs better in case the management
communicates and appreciates his/her work which contributes to continuous
improvement in their performance.
8. If yes, how will a teacher manifest such? Cite an example.
For example, the rate of the education staff is one of the highest in the world. It is
becoming a major concern since the deficit of trained educational staff keeps
increasing every year. Every year there is changing and adjustment in the education
system for the bitterness of everybody.
