IX. Rationale:
Music is an art form involved in the blending of vocal or instrumental
sounds for the purpose of achieving beauty of form or emotional expression
in accordance with cultural standards of rhythm and melody, among other
things. There are numerous reasons why music is vital in our lives. It
assisted in the creation of specific feelings such as happiness, calmness,
sadness, fear, and so forth. It provides a safe environment for us to
experience various emotions. Music aided and enhanced our creative
abilities.

Well-developed music skills of students play a vital role for their personal
development as a whole.

X. Terminal Objective:
To produce skillful and talented students of Sergio L. Legayada National
High School.

XI. Enabling Objectives:

1. To gain self-confidence and develop positive attitudes towards learning
music by playing the piano instrument.
2. To instill among the participants the principles of cooperation, discipline
and involvement through music.
XII. Expected Outputs:
Students can play Basic Piano Piece during recital.

XIII. Activity Description:

Students can maintain proper hand positions and play piano using notation
and chords.

XIV. Performance Indicators:

Piano Recital

XV. List of Participants:

First 10 students from Grades 7-8 to enroll for Piano Workshop.
