2022 REGIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE

1. Attached is RM# 0263, 2.2022 on the conduct of the limited Face to Face
2022 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) with the theme,
"Empowering Resilient Communities through Campus Journalism" via
Flexible Delivery Modality (FDM) on April 25-29, 2022 at Mandaue City
Central School for Mandaue City delegates only.

2. Participants to the 2022 RSPC are the following:

2.1 Top 3 winners in all nine (9) individual writing categories both Elementary
and Secondary in English and Filipino, fully vaccinated or with RTPCR for
unvaccinated coaches and contestants.
2.2 Participating schools must submit an electronic publication to the contest
committee.
2 .3 Division Technical Working Group.

3 . This Office adheres to DO 66, s. 2017 on Implementing Guidelines on the

Conduct of Off-Campus Activities. Participants and Coaches are reminded to
observe the safety and security protocols of all contestants before, during and
after the contest. Permit from parents shall be secured on the specified time
and days for practice and the actual day of the competition.

4. Registration, meals of all participants and other expenses relative to the

conduct of the RSPC shall be charged to the division local funds.
Transportation and other expenses of contestants and coaches can be charged

to the school MOOE/existing Campus Journalism Fund/and other local funds

of the school subject to COA rules and regulations.

5. This Memorandum shall serve as Travel Oder of the participants .

6. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum to all

concerned is desired.
