1. What do you understand by Qualitative variable and quantitative variables?
2. What are the precautions to be considered for tabulation of data?
3. A cyclist covers his first three kms at an average speed of 8 kmph. Another two kms
at 3 kmph and the last two kms at 2 kmph. Find the average speed for the entire
journey.
4. The value of Spearmen’s rank correlation coefficient for certain pairs of numbers of
observations , was found to be 2/3.The sum of squares of the differences between
corresponding ranks was 55. Find the number of pairs.
