Topic: CHN Community Visit Departure Time: 8:00 am Arrival Time: 1:15 pm Purposes To fulfill curriculum demand to acquire knowledge about the real situation To educate and aware the common public about myths and facts about vaccines and immunization, and related issues. To observe cooperation and compliance of the community towards health-care workers; immunization workers in particular. To analyze and conclude the health-related issues and quality management with minimum resources. To make suggestions to turn the community into an “ideal community”. Observations The community was very welcoming and cooperative. EPI program has proved to be quite successful in vaccinating the individuals were vaccinated The families of attendees were fully vaccinated against Covid-19 Related issues Lack of health personnel. People are not educated on the importance of vaccines. People are not willing to administer medications. Only a limited number of vaccines are available to them. Suggestions Govt. should launch more programs focusing on giving health education to general public in a way understandable to them. This purpose can be achieved by producing adverts in local languages and by designating specified staff at village health facilities like RHC and BHU.
