BARRIERS IN COMMUNICATION

1. Semantic Barrier :- This happened to me when I was texting to one of friend in a group
conversation and at the end of the conversation she concluded me with TTYL. But later on I
asked her what does TTYL means she replied me that it is TALK TO YOU LATER and it’s
a jargon term.

2. Socio-psychological Barrier :- When I was pursuing BBA I was told by my friends that one
of our faculty has called me to his cabin, and I was very nervous at that time that what faculty
will say. Will he scold me?

3. Physical Barrier:- This happened with me in August during CRP sessions that due to power
cut my laptop and wifi got disconnected at the same time and I missed the session.

4. Organizational Barrier :- This happened with me during my BBA times, I was in a hurry to
catch the bus and I have to submit the application to the Dean’s PA rather I directly went to
the Dean sir and unfortunately he was In a meeting. His PA warned me not to go directly to
the Dean sir.
