HEAD OF NURSING: MEDICAL RECORDS SUPERVISOR
1. Call the OPD Charge Nurses during off duty
hours
2. Be stationed in the Head of Nursing Office in
ER
3. Coordinates staffing requirements with the
Charge Nurses / Deputized for the wards
4. Directs the driver to collect nursing staff from
accommodations or assigns the responsibility
as required
5. Liaises with Hospitality Services / Deputized to
ensure sufficient housekeeping staff as
required
6. Informs the Director of Nursing (DON) on
arrival
7. Keeps ICC informed of status of patients in the
hospital
HEAD OF SECURITY / DEPUTIZED:
1. Announce the end of visiting time, Ensure the
hospital is cleared of visitors and reports to the
FMS Director for the status.
2. Ensures that the visitors, media and crowd will be
guided to the OPD.
3. Ensures restriction for not parking the private
vehicles in front of the ER main gate except
ambulances
4. Secures the main entrances (ER gate, OPD gate,
and backdoor gate and ER front door) and opens
the OPD main door if after working hours
5. Remains in the hospital and instruct security staff
not to leave until a special permission from the
ICC for security dismissal
6. After the Code Green is cleared, assists the Head
of Nursing and Medical Record Supervisor with
the identification of the deceased
PATIENT RELATIONS DIRECTOR (PRD)
1. Stationed in the OPD Main Reception and
STAY in OPD until CODE CLEAR.
2. Liaise with ICCT in managing all patient
related enquiries of disaster victims.
3. Getting information of any patient related
information from the ICC Room.
4. Getting information by the ICC to source
donors for blood donation and direct them
to Blood Bank.
5. Deal with all related queries and update
information to media
1. Keep ICC informed of victims' status and
numbers as they are identified in ER,
record all relevant data for victims (from
ER).
2. Follow-up on the status of all victims
admitted to wards/units and update all
details.
3. Assist Medical and Nursing Staff in
updating the HMIS with the Admission
Data when ALL CLEAR.
4. Follow-up with Head of Nursing and
Security regarding identification of the
deceased when ALL CLEAR
HEAD OF PHARMACY / DEPUTIZED
1. Opens the Main Pharmacy.
2. Reports department status to ICC.
3. Initiates the Pharmacy Calling Cascade.
4. Call off duty staff per ICC Calling
Cascade.
5. Calls Store Manager once Code Yellow is
announced.
6. Provides emergency drugs and narcotics
as requested.
7. Requests additional supplies by phone
from Store
Head OF MID (Medical Imaging Department:
1. Reports department status to ICC.
2. Coordinates all CT scan activities in the
hospital throughout the disaster.
3. Ensures that all x-ray requisitions have been
written and include the following information:
(Patient tag number, tag color, bed and room
location, Type of procedure requested ,
Clinical Findings, The receiving ward to be
indicated on the requisition form, Ensures
return of manual MID requisition forms to the
requesting Physician with findings).
