HEAD OF INTERNAL MEDICINE
1. Initiates the Internal Medicine Department
Calling Cascade, Share in the management of
cases in ER.
2. Acts as the Team Leader of the Doctor's Pool
area.
3. Reports to Head of ER to receive a status
report of the disaster.
4. Will delegate the discharge and/transfer of
patient to a Consultant/Resident
ICU PHYSICIANS
1. Shift immediately to ER to cover the ER Staff
that will mobilize ambulance until other ER
staff arrives. Might be assigned as a member
of the Mobile Team.
2. Report on duty in ICU and informs head of
ICU.
3. Assist the treating doctors in the transfer of
patients from ICU to the 3rd floor accordingly.
4. Assist in the management of Red Tagged
patients in ER / ICU.
OBG I MEDICAL I PEDIA RESIDENTS
1. Shift immediately to ER to cover the ER
Staff that will mobilize the ambulance until
other ER Staff arrives.
2. Report to the Head of Department.
3. Assist in the discharge and / or internal /
external transfer of patients.
4. Will be re-assigned according to the
instructions of the Head of
Surgery/Deputized.
AMBULANCE DRIVERS:
1. Will be informed by the ER Head Nurse.
2. Will collect the Triage Team from ER and
proceed to the field on the request of the ER
Charge Nurse Deputized.
3. Will collect one Housekeeper in each
ambulance to help in the patient's transfer.
4. All Drivers will remain on site until the
disaster is declared over or as indicated by
the ICC.
ER PHYSICIANS
1. Will respond to the ER Calling Cascade.
2. Will be supervised and allocated by the Head
of ER/Deputized to manage Red and Yellow
Tagged patients in ER/Triage.
3. Will assist in the transfer of Red Tagged
patients to OR/ICU if required.
SURGICAL I ENT I OPHTHALMOLOGY
1. Report to the head of Surgery/Deputized.
2. Update the head of Surgery about the current
status of cases admitted.
3. Will be re-assigned according to the
instructions of the head of Surgery/Deputized
CARDIOLOGY CONSULTANT
1. Transfer patients.
2. Respond to consultations as required.
3. Can be re-assigned as required by the Head
of ER
TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR I DEPUTIZED
(DRIVER ON DUTY):
1. Informed by the FMS Director.
2. Initiates the Transportation Department
Calling Cascade.
3. Be prepared to provide the ICC with a
summary status of number of operational
Vehicles and Drivers.
4. Directs the Drivers to collect the Staff from
all the accommodations as per Departmental
Work Instructions.
5. Directs all Drivers to remain on site until
disaster is declared over and or as indicated by
the ICC.
STORE MANAGER I DEPUTIZED:
1.Initiates Store calling cascade.
2.Reports to the Administrative Director.
3.Provides supply of consumables and
pharmaceuticals to all areas as required.
4.Remains in the hospital until the disaster is
declared over or as indicated by the ICC.
