 CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
Religion is the main basis of work and
goodness of every people through this
people make a decision inclined to the
teaching of the religion and also religion
is the guide how the people process
every situation in their life by using the
beliefs and tradition. Religion is part of
the life of everyone. However not
everyone have a same religion or in
other words. People have different
perspective in some aspect of life. In
other religion this is bad but in other
religion is good and vice versa. And this
will become religious diversity. Different
religion because of different beliefs.
Religious diversity happen because of
the different interpretation of theologian
about theology. In addition to this,
many different religious are present in
this time and there's a possibility that
add up in the near future. Furthermore
religion also pass through generation to
generation. However there's a theory of
religious diversity. It is the fact that
there are significant differences in
religious belief and practices
In the field of business. Profit is the
priority of the owner and also the
success of the business. There's a lot of
ways where the company gain more
profit by there’s specific strategies such
as advertising, promo and more.
According to (Gurther, 2018). The sense
of religion can be dynamic. It can cause
a competitive advantage in business.
(Nikolova and Simroth, 2015). Religious
diversity helps in the trial phase of
entrepreneurship but not actually
starting up new venture is puzzling.
Furthermore, there's a positive and
negative consequences such as creative
ideas and provides new information but
a same time have labor discrimination
and distrust. In addition to this. (Oyna,
2017) conclude in his research that
religious diversity can be a part of
cultural diversity which can cause of
change in perspective and affects the
business. Also have a negative effect in
the business. Workers with different
religion beliefs can affect their
commitment and engagement. It was
stated by (Messona, 2014)
Research Questions
This study generally aims to determine
the effect of religious diversity to the
profitability of company. The study will
be done by seeking the following
question:
RQ1: How does religious diversity of
the employees affect the profit of
company?
RQ2: Does the religious diversity of
employers affect the company?

Conceptual Framework
INPUT:

Knowing the effect of
religious diversity of
employees to the income
PROCESS:
 Conducted a study in
qualitative approach.
 Prepare a set of interview
questions that concern the
topic.
 Selecting an appropriate
participant that answer the
questions.
 Interpret and analyze the
answer of the participant.
 Prepare a recommendation
for the benefit of the future
OUTPUT:
 A study can produce an
intangible knowledge the will
benefit the company especially
to the manager or owner of the
business. They will acquire
knowledge about the effect of
religious diversity in the field of
the business.
Significance of the Study
The study aims to determine the effect
of religious diversity of employees to the
profitability of the company. It will
answer if there is a significant or have
not. In addition to this many
beneficiaries will give a knowledge such
as:
Owner/Aspiring Owner- this study
will help them by knowing the effect of
religious diversity in the business
Manager- this study will help them by
monitoring the employees attitudes.
Human Resource- This study will help
the human resource in choosing a
employees
Employees- This study will help the
employee to overcome the effect
religious diversity
Future researchers- This study will be
used by future researcher as a guide
and can use as review of related
literature.
CHAPTER 2
METHODOLOGY
Methods
A study will able to collect data
through the following method. First,
selecting a specific business in
Meycauayan. Second, the research will
check the personal data or the resume
of the employee to check their religion.
Third, the researcher will choose among
the specific worker with different
religion to each other and they will take
the prepared survey of the researcher.
The sampling method present is
convenience sampling or the non-
probability sampling method. The
reason of the researcher is the
employee are also busy in their task in
the business so the tendency the
Researcher choose who are available to
be a target population who can become
the participants in the survey. In
addition to his the selected participants
will go on the interview process with
researcher for getting more information
and details.
Research Design
The research design of this study is
qualitative and will identify the effect of
religious diversity of employees to the
income of company. The researcher will
use interview process and survey as a
tool in data collection. Furthermore the
researcher will use thematic analysis in
the data interpretation. The whole
process will be succeed by the help of
participant in stating his or her own
perspective and experience with honesty
and integrity.

the whole process in the

There are allotted theme for every
interview questions:
For Interview Question No. 1
“How does religious diversity of
employees affect the income of
company?”
Insufficient Income- deals
with the lower production
because of not understanding
of both workers.
Unaffected- Does not affect
the income of the company

“How was your experience in working
with different beliefs or religion as
yours?”
Inconvenience- deals with the
uncomfortable working with

Neutral- deals with normal
transaction in co-workers
without hesitation to help other
