On Thursday, December 2nd 2021, Deputies were called to meet Linda Alavez, DOB 10/04/1967, at her home at 2475 10th Avenue NE, Naples, in Collier County Florida. Upon arrival Corporal J. Swank spoke to Alavez who told Cpl. Swank the following: She had information given to her from a tenant of hers named Victor Torres. Victor Torres lives in a trailer on her property. Victor Torres had spoken to her about a friend of his, Michael Pritchard, who lives down the street at 2770 10th Ave NE. Victor Torres told her that Michael had spoken with him about a tenant he had rented to named Decedent. Michael knows that Felipe’s family has been at his home, at the front gate looking for Felipe. Pritchard told Victor "They won't find him, cause I shot him with a 357 Magnum and buried him in the fire pit next to the house." Michael told Victor that Decedent had masturbated in front of Michael's girlfriend, so he shot him. Linda advised me that less than a week ago she was in Michael's home when he had asked her to stop by to look at something. Once inside, she stated she had observed a "machine gun” on the floor and a handgun. Upon seeing the firearms, she said she became scared and left the residence. On 12-01-21, Michael had called Linda and seemed concemed that the Sheriff's Office was at his house. He had asked her to go down to his home and see if the police were still in the area. She informed him that she was not home and would not go home to check. She further advised that her tenant Victor is good friends with Michael. She also stated that Michael routinely shoots his firearms at random times and up into the air. The home had cameras which shows the front fence which is how he knew Felipe’s family was at the residence and the Sheriff's Office was present as well. At approximately 1635 hours today, December 2nd, 2021, Your Affiant met with Linda Alavez, at the dead end of 10th Ave NE. I took a sworn taped statement of Alavez, which was the same statement that she provided to Cpl. Swank. Alavez provided further information to Your Affiant that Pritchard has been oddly burning pieces of furniture and other items all in the same area of the yard over the last couple of days. At approximately 1720 hours the affiant spoke to Victor Torres DOB 03/14/1967. Torres provided a sworn taped statement. During the statement provided by Torres he confirmed that uring the afternoon of Wednesday, December Ist, 2021, he was with his friend Michael Pritchard in Pritchard's truck. While they were together, they had a conversation about Felipe. Pritchard received a telephone call from an unknown person during their ride together. That conversation was about Decedent the guy that lived in Pritchard's house. During that conversation, Pritchard told Torres that he caught Decedent masturbating into Pritchard's, gitlftiend’s (Subsequently identified as Monica Petrosian) underwear. Pritchard told Torres that uy he then shot Decedent with a Magnum, and then buried his body on the side of the house. On December 3rd, 2021, a lawfilly issued search warrant was executed at the residence of Michael Pritchard at 2770 10th Ave NE, Naples, FL, 34120. The body of Decedent was located buried in a shallow grave in the yard of Michael Pritchard's home. The grave was a short distance from the entrance to the home, as it was described by Victor Torres. Within 20 feet from the shallow grave investigators located a long handled garden spade shovel for digging. Investigators also located a burning pit which was located on the same side of Pritchard's residence as the grave. There was another long handled shovel digging next to the burning pit. Two walkers used by the victim Decedent to assist him with balance when he walked were located concealed behind a garden shed at the rear of the property. The location of the walkers would be out of view of anyone visiting the residence. During the subsequent search of the interior of the home several firearms were located including a revolver pistol. Investigators located the bedroom used by Decedent. The door to Decedent's bedroom had what appeared to be a bullet hole through it. During the execution of the search warrant at 2770 10 Ave NE, Naples Florida, Monica Petrosian was located in bed with Michael Pritchard. Petrosian would provide two sworn statements to Detective Derek Holden ID# 2063. During the two swom statements Petrosian denied knowing what happened to Decedent, and that she had arrived home from work and was told by Pritchard that Duran left the home after Pritchard confronted Duran about masturbating into Petrosian’s panties, Petrosian further stated that she saw Duran in the morning on the day he went missing from the home. Petrosian told Detective Holden that she saw him in the kitchen area of the home, wearing only black under wear. Thad conducted further investigation into Petrosian's whereabouts during the week of the murder. Through that investigation I discovered there was several discrepancies between her previous statements, and the information I had discovered. During the days of 11/22/2021 through 11/24/2021 Petrosian had stated to detective Holden that she had gone to work as she usually does. I had discovered information that Petrosian was not telling the truth about going to work as she normally does, > On Thursday, March 10th, 2022, I interviewed Petrosian's employer Arda Boyer, the owner of Mondo Uomo a clothing store in Naples, Florida, According to Boyer, Petrosian had left work early on Monday, November 22nd, 2021, she told her employer she needed to leave because her boyfriend was at home experiencing a seizure, On Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, Petrosian texted her employer that she would not be in for work for the entire day, because her boyfriend was still experiencing problems from his seizures. Boyer showed me the text message sent from Petrosian to him on the morning of November 23, 2021. It appears that Petrosian was intentionally misleading Detective Holden during the previous swom statements she provided on December 3", 2021. This new information is drastically different than her previous statements. On Friday, March I Ith, 2022, Detective Derek Holden ID# 2063, and I, Detective Dean Fredericks ID# 3882 scheduled an Interview with Monica Petrosian about her knowledge of the Ve murder of the Decedent given the new information at approximately 0850 hours Petrosian u arrived at the CID office. Petrosian was sworn in and agreed to tell the truth, We went over some of the information with Petrosian about her employer and some of the information that she had previously provided to Detective Holden. Petrosian is very calm and repeats the information over again, Petrosian says that she went to work on Monday, November 22nd as she usually does, she got a call between 1000 and 1100 hours from one of Pritchard's friends asking her to come home, because he was having a seizure. Petrosian was unable to provide the name of that person that called her. Petrosian left work and came home, and spent the day with Pritchard. Petrosian didn't call for an ambulance or get medical help. Petrosian states that she stays home after arriving there. When I ask her to go over specifics on the morning of Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021. Petrosian told us that she gets up and gets ready for work. Michaelis still home, but Petrosian doesn't see anyone else. Petrosian denies seeing Decedent that morning before she leaves for work (This is not what Petrosian told Detective Holden during the two previous statements). Petrosian leaves for work, is driving toward her workplace, and then at approximately 0930 hours gets a call from Pritchard on her phone. Petrosian told us that Pritchard had an argument with Felipe, and that Pritchard had asked Decedent to leave the home. I stopped Petrosian and reminded her of her sworn oath to tell the truth, I explain how important it is to tell the truth, Petrosian tells me that she does. Petrosian tells that after that telephone call from Pritchard that she finishes her day at work and leaves to go straight home. Upon arrival at home, Pritchard tells her that he couldn't take it, and asked Decedent to leave. Petrosian told me that she thought Felipe's brother came to give him a ride. Petrosian told me that when she arrived ‘home there was no one else there. I then confronted Petrosian about the discrepancies between this statement and her previous statements, Petrosian would begin to see that her previous statements were different and that she should begin to tell the truth about the incident. Petrosian then proceeds to tell us a new version of the incident, According to Petrosian, she had gone to work on Monday, November 22nd as she previously told us. Petrosian told us that she arrived home and, and thought it was around 8:00, or something, she went into the bathroom and saw that the tub was clogged with poop (feces). Petrosian started to clean it up and began arguing with Decedent through his bedroom door about the clogged tub. Petrosian continues to argue with Felipe, through the door. Petrosian begins banging on the door, because Decedent is not responding to her yelling at him. Petrosian then states that Pritchard is in the kitchen, and he has his gun, Pritchard pulls the gun, and he shot through the door, because Decedent said, "fuck you!" Petrosian asked Pritchard what did you do. Pritchard says, He just shot through the door, and he knew Decedent was standing there. I asked Petrosian, how did Pritchard know that he was standing there? Petrosian didn't know, but Pritchard told her that he knew he was standing there. After that happened, Petrosian told Pritchard that they needed to call the police. Pritchard told her that nobody's going to call the police, and we're going to take care of that. Petrosian again told Pritchard that she needed to call somebody, and Pritchard told her, “we are not calling nobody.” Petrosian continues to go over the details of what happened after he shot Decedent. According to Petrosian, Pritchard always carries a gun, and that he shot Decedent with a revolver pistol. Pritchard opens the bedroom door and Petrosian sees Decedent laying on the floor. Petrosian tells us that the bullet hit Decedent in the head. Decedent is wearing just underwear. Petrosian touches the body to see if he is alive. Petrosian tells us that after Decedent was shot it may have taken a few minutes and that is when she wanted to call, Petrosian never saw Decedent moving, or breathing. According to Petrosian another male named JJ (subsequently identified as Jeremiah Valdes) arrives at the house a short time after the shooting, Pritchard and JJ discussed what to do with the body and decided to bury him. According to Petrosian, they put him in a plastic bin that belonged to her. The bin was in the home, they emptied her things out of it and put Decedent's body into the bin. I asked why they would they use that bin, and Petrosian told me because it was easier to move him. Petrosian told me that they moved the body through the house and blood was on the floor. Petrosian told us that Pritchard cleaned up the blood, and that she helped him clean the blood from the floor. Petrosian used paper towels to clean the blood then flushed them down the toilet. The next day, Pritchard would burn Felipe's clothes in the yard to get rid of them. Petrosian told us that everything happened that night. Petrosian told me that they moved the body through the house and blood was on the floor. Petrosian stated that on the same night of the murder, Pritchard and JJ would dig a hole in the yard to bury the body. According to Petrosian, they dragged him to the tote, and put Duran into it. They had to use a lot of force to get him into the tote. Pritchard had grabbed Duran by the head to put him in the tote. I then asked Petrosian about the cleanup of the blood after the murder. According to Petrosian, Desi (Desrielle Bessellieu) and Ty (Ty Newkirk) both helped to clean up the blood. Petro: told us that Ty Newkirk suggested that they use muriatic acid to clean the blood. I asked Petrosian if she did use the muriatic acid, and she told me that she did, that the acid was already there at the house. I asked Petrosian if there could still be blood in the home that she could have missed cleaning up and could have been collected by crime scene personnel later on, Petrosian told me there could be. | then asked Petrosian if she shot Felipe, and she told me, "No, I did not” Petrosian would tell us that Pritchard, JJ, Desi, Ty, and she all helped to put Decedent's body into the tote. Then Pritchard and JJ dug the hole in the yard to bury the body through the night. They all then took the tote with Felipe’s body out of the house and placed it into the hole. Petrosian told us that she and Pritchard buried the tote with dirt, using shovels, and they did it during the middle of the night. Petrosian would subsequently tell us that Pritchard shot Decedent through the door, and it was not because Decedent was masturbating to her underwear, they only saw the Petrosian's underwear in Decedent's hand after he was shot, they opened the door Duran was on the floor and saw they the underwear in his hand. According to Petrosian, Ty Newkirk helped drag the bin outside through the side door to the home. Petrosian told us that it was hard to get Decedent into the bin because his body was stiff. After Monica provided a third sworn statement, it became clear that she had lied during her previous statement and attempted to assist Michael Pritchard by concealing the truth. Further investigation was conducted on information provided by witness Jeremiah Valdez, during his swomn statement for this incident that he provided on March, 11, 2022. According to Valdez, on evening of Monday, November 22, 2021, while inside Michael Pritchard’s home, Valdez. was told by Michael Pritchard that he killed Decedent. Pritchard held Valdez, and several other witnesses in the home and refused to let them leave while holding a 357 pistol in his hand. Valdez would also provide information about the subsequent planning and eventual burial of Decedent's body in the yard outside of Pritchard's home. Monica Petrosian ‘was present the entire time that Valdez was in the home, and she participated in the conversation about what to do with Decedent’s body. Once Pritchard eventually decided to let Valdez and the others leave the home, Petrosian remained in the home with Pritchard. ‘Valdez denied participating in the cleanup of any blood, moving of Decedent's body, touching or even seeing Decedent's body while at Michael Pritchard's home. Valdez denied being present or assisting in the digging of the shallow grave, assisting in putting Decedent's body in the tote or the grave. When Valdez left Michael Pritchard's home during the early morning hours on ‘Tuesday, November 23", Decedent’s body was still in his bedroom. Valdez retumed to Pritchard’s home several days later, and saw that Pritchard’s dogs were digging up a black storage bin that was buried in the yard. Pritchard came out of the house to stop the dogs from digging up the bin. When I asked Valdez about the storage tote he told me that he was told by Michael Pritchard that Petrosian had gone to the Home Depot on Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Florida, after Duran was murdered and purchased the storage tote that he was now buried in. Pritchard also told Valdez that Petrosian bought muriatic acid, and that they poured it on Duran after he was put in the tote that she bought. On March 16", 2022 I spoke to witness a Desirielle Besselieu who provided a swom statement to me about this incident. According to Besselieu, she lived on Michael Pritchard's property in a travel trailer parked in front of the house. On the night that Decedent was murdered inside of Michael Pritchard’s home, Besselieu entered the house after Duran was murdered by Pritchard. Besselieu explained that her friend Jeremiah Valdez came to the house, parked his truck, then centered Michael Pritchard’s home. A short time after Valdez entered the home, she left her trailer and entered the home with her husband Ty Newkirk. Upon entering the home Besselieu described that Michael Pritchard, Monica Petrosian, Jeremiah Valdez, and a boy named Michael were all standing around with a strange look on their faces Pritchard then told Besselieu that he shot the Decedent. Petrosian would subsequently tell Besselieu that Pritchard shot Decedent through the bedroom door. Pritchard held them all at gunpoint and was considering shooting them all, so that they couldn’t talk about what happened. Pritchard held them in the house for hours. They were all asked to not speak about this incident to anyone. According to Besselieu, in the early morning hours Petrosian and Pritchard spoke alone for several minutes, then Petrosian told them all they could leave ul! : Subsequent investigation was conducted on the Home Depot information provided by Valdez. That further investigation located a transaction for a 70 Gallon HDX Storage Tote with Wheels and two (2) gallons of drain cleaner. The transaction occurred on November 24, 2021 at 0924 hours. Investigators obtained digital photograph and a video of the purchaser. The video showed Monica Petrosian entering the store, approaching a store employee, briefly speaking to the employee, then proceeding to the storage tote section of the store. Petrosian is then seen pushing aan orange colored cart containing a 70 Gallon HDX Storage Tote, and two (2) gallons of drain cleaner. Investigators would later learn that many drain cleaners contain muriatic acid. Petrosian then purchases the storage tote and drain cleaner, and exits the store. Petrosian then goes to her vehicle, and drives out of the parking area alone. The storage tote purchased by Petrosian is an exact match to the tote that Decedent’s body was found in. This new information obtained through investigation shows that Petrosian lied several times during her third swom statement, and omitted that she in fact was the person that actually purchased the tote that Duran was buried in days after the murder took place. Duran’s body had been left on the floor where he died until he was put into the tote, and subsequently buried sometime after November 24", Petrosian has lied numerous times during sworn statements, and mislead investigators in an effort to assist defendant Michael Pritchard and conceal her involvement and assistance by attempting to destroy evidence, and then assisting Pritchard with the disposal of the Decedent's body by burying him in the storage tote that she purchased for that purpose. Wherefore Your Affiant requests an arrest warrant be issued for Monica Petrosian D.O.B 10/24/1979 Hg 5°07”, Wet.160, Brown, Brown, FL DL# 362540798840, Lka.752 Wiggins Lake Drive, Unit 101 Ct, N, FL 34110 for Accessory After The Fact For Murder F.S.S. 777.03(1); 2b State of Florida County of Collier Swom to and subscribed before me this, day of 202%by Detective Dean Fredericks.
