How the patient interpret the drawing.


 Fast
The patient said that the stickmen were her and with her friends, and they were happy
that the weather is okay. She said that those three friends of her were Shen, and
Ma’am Helen. The setting of the drawing is depicted as beautiful surroundings
according to the patient.

 Slow
The patient’s interpretation were there are two people, stick people rather. One with
the sad face is her, while the other her mother. She said her mother left her during her
birthday, it can be seen with the baloons.

Definition of color, shapes and lines.


 Fast
- Color
Blue (Sea) and Green (Tree) - probably indicate controls self. But, that may not be the
case because the sea is blue. And, could be a result of spontaneous form of expression
maybe, due to the music, and she seems hopeful.
Brown (House) - probably indicate depression inside the house.
Black - probably indicate feelings depression, even the song is quite upbeat.
Mixed Color - high intellect.

- Shapes
Tiny head - probably indicates inadequacy of having moments with her friends,
considering she is at a mental institute.
Sun - Could indicate that the patient is hopeful.

- Lines
Well - drawn bark - it shows good ego.
Small door - could indicate small needs.

 Slow
- Color
Brown (House) - probably still indicate depression inside the house.
Black - probably indicate feelings depression, and regression, the surround her and
her mother.
Red - probably indicate hostility and rage during her birthday.
Blue - severe depression.

- Shapes
Emphasis on the head (Heavy Line) - could indicate struggle for tension control.
Whirling hair - could indicate instability.

- Lines
Indecisive lines - insecurity and hostility.
Dot eyes - indicates to see little as possible.
Small door - could indicate small need.

 Fast
Regardless of the music, the patient may still feel depression inside the house. She
seems to control herself during listening and has spontaneous happy feelings towards
her friends. I see her having a high intellect though I can not decipher what is the
meaning of what she drew above the house. The house in fact is drawn in brown color
that could signify that she is feels depression at her home, in addition the door also
signify that it has small needs.

 Slow
She has a past history of her mother leaving her during her birthday. The black
indecisive lines could most likely indicate hostility and regression towards her
mother. These lines surround both her and her mother. It emphazises her feelings of
severe depression as well because of the blue lines, especially drawn in heavy lines.
Paticularly, the balloons are red, these may be a sign of rage and hostility during her
birthday. The house also represents as brown because she may feel that it is still
depressing in her home, and the door that still indicate small needs. The dot eyes
might indicate that she sees little as possible to her mother, rephrasing, she is sees
little of her mother, might indicate what she lacks the needs of her mother. The role of
the mother.
