● Community in the location of the Shell Extraction site in the Niger Delta. Every
time they are burning oil they pollute the rivers, which causes fishes to die and
fishermen to lose their livelihood. It also affects the locals as they start to develop
different diseases because of the pollution, such as asthma and cancer.
● Customers- Customers refer to companies and countries that purchase oil from
Shell, they would usually want products that are good and cheap. For example if
there was resection in Nigeria, the production cost for shell will increase therefore
the selling price will increase and some customers may not like the change, so
they will go to another company, whose product is good and also cheaper and
buy from them.
● Government- In Nigeria it is the major source of revenue and Nigeria is abundant
in oil, so many companies come to Nigeria to extract oil. Before they can extract
oil, they will need clearance from the government, which costs plenty of money.
Also companies are also meant to pay heavy tax, so the more they produce the
more the government will tax them.

goes more carefully: For example they should now be able to know where their
oil is spilling from and patch it before it becomes a major problem.

energy.
● They should create a water recycling system for rivers and lakes that have been
affected by pollution
