2. Reflect on how as a Development Communication Student an understanding of how social networks affect your
decisions, your career, your health and our history.

Our community establishes a number of standards and habits. If everyone else in the room is playing video
games, you will be encouraged to join in too. When a large number of people come to a halt, we are compelled
to follow suit. As a result of our social networks, standards and habits propagate. Our links to individuals in our
community, as well as our connections, influence our decisions, and vice versa. Through social networks we can
easily adapt what other people interests are, like what's their favorite songs, habits, or mood. Sometimes we
tend to asks questions through social media when we are struggling to make a decisions ourselves. For example,
you are struggling what to eat today, so we posts in our social media accounts “What delicious food should I eat
today?” and if majority of them says “cheeseburger” then you will be persuaded to eat cheeseburger. Social
networks can easily affects our decisions and decision making that simple and so on with our career, health and
history. As a Development Communication student, I've gained a better knowledge of how social networks
enable individuals to communicate in ways we could never have imagined before, and how we did so before.
Social media is more than just a means of communication or pleasure. It's now a place where we spend the
majority of our time. It can become the primary residence for some people, such as those who live away from
their families.
