OBJECTIVE
I have been a camera operator, studio manager, editor and producer for
10 years. As an employee of CNN for 6 years I developed an expert
skill level on many different types of cameras including handheld;
lipstick, Pedestal, as well as several different High Def field
cameras. I am proficient in Steadicam Operation with experience in
live and taped productions.. I also have extensive experience in stage
directing and as an A2 and I have also worked as a control operator
and I am a certified facilitator. I am a certified Final Cut Pro
editor and have been editing video since 2001. This combination of
talents allows me to problem solve and understand situations from many
sides of a production. Throughout my career I have participated in
many freelance productions ranging from simple interviews, to major
productions for the NBA, ESPN, Discovery Channel, New 12 NJ, and many
other production companies. Basically I have a wide array of talents
and am proficient in a majority of positions in a film or video
production. My objective is to work in a pre production, production,
and or post production environment, where I can step in and
confidently perform any job with the skill of a seasoned videographer
or as a producer. I have the confidence and ability to quickly gain
the faith and respect of any director or producer I work with. I can

* Responsible for shooting field interviews and story footage. I am
also responsible for compression, editing and exporting field
footage on Final Cut Pro HD systems.

 * As a member of Redhouse Productions, I have access to a wide array
of equipment needed to successfully create any type of video or
film production. I have personally been a videographer on a number
of shoots that range from Live Music, to Corporate Videos.

* 2005-2009/ I began to gain experience in multiple camera
positions. By the end of 2005 I was considered one of the top
operators of handheld, and pedestal cameras for any show and any
position whether in the field or in the studio. I was one of only
four CNN Studio Operators chosen to travel the country to block
and shoot the Presidential Debates covered by CNN. I was chosen to
work as a steadicam Operator in every election special shot in the
New York, Studio. Main Shows- Anderson Cooper 360, Showbiz
Tonight. I also worked as a control operator; in charge of routing
three studios by myself to the proper destination. This included;
of course, audio and video, and making sure that the director
could hear the interviewee and the interviewee could hear
programming.
* 2005-Present/ I studied the mechanics, and operation of the
Steadicam. During that time I developed into one of the best of
only four steadicam operators that are trusted enough to operate
the camera. . I also did Steadicam for three New Years Eve
specials shot in Times Square and produced the anchor at the same
time.
* 2003-2004/ I worked as a studio audio technician. During this time
I also Stage Managed such shows as Lou Dobbs Tonight, Anderson
Cooper 360, Showbiz Tonight, and Larry King Live.

I created my own video production company that involved productions of

Media Trainer
* I started out as a P.A. for Edelman and was quickly promoted to
Media Trainer. As a Trainer, I set up a staged interview with
people who had little or no experience with televised interviews.
I would set up the camera, and properly mic them up, telling the
client where he or she should look, sit, and other nuances. I
would also tell them what to expect from the crew and the host.
Then a pre written interview was given to the client as I
recorded. After this a fake interview was given I would play back
the tape and we would all go over the wrongs and rights of the
interview.

* Was asked by my film professor to participate in an independent
study with him to finish a student film I created that he thought
could compete in the film festival arena. Due to money
restrictions, I was only able to create a rough finish of the
movie which was still accepted into the Hofstra Film Festival.
