Since the release of the original Matrix film in 1999, audiences around the world have

been eagerly awaiting The Matrix Reloaded. It's a big deal in Sydney, where the

Wachowskis got their start on this trilogy back in the day.

Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Laurence Fishburne filmed the picture for more

than a year in the Sydney Fox Studios.

The film used Martin Place and Pitt Street in Sydney's CBD to construct its future

cityscapes. Martin Place served as the backdrop for one of the film's most thrilling action

sequences, which featured a spectacular helicopter sequence.
