million) 2019
This scheme envisages a Wide 2+1 Single-Carriageway bypass running round
the eastern side of the town carrying all traffic that does not wish to stop in the
town
Highways Designer
As a Design Engineer, I prepared a WS2+1 arrangement bypass option to
improve overtaking opportunities on proposed bypass of A29 road. I also
prepared various alternative options for side road junctions of proposed bypass
options and carried out visibility checks. I also supported UK counterparts in
technical note preparation.
— Kent County Council, A249 Bearsted Road Improvement Scheme, UK, (£4
million 2017

under guidance of senior Engineer
— Eastleigh Borough Council, Eastleigh STS Wide Lane, UK 2015
I designed three feasible options to improve capacity for Wide Lane-Mitchell
Way junction and prepared compliance/non-compliance sheet. Also, three
options were prepared for plan and profile of wide lane road over existing
railway bridge and the preferable option was updated based on the junction
layouts.
The Wide lane road geometry posed a challenge of change in gradient from
railway bridge to Wide lane Mitchell way junction in lesser length and I
prepared feasible options to improve the capacity without worsening the
gradient condition.
