 SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION IN UKRAINE

A week ago Russia began what it called a "Special Military Operation" deploying Russian troops in
Ukrainian territory, Vladimir Putin president of Russia explained that the intentions of this military
operation was to liberate the Russian separatists living in Ukraine and that according to him are
subject to genocide by the regime in Kiev (Ukraine), however it has been said that there are other
political reasons such as the intention of Ukraine to belong to NATO, It should be remembered
that this organization was created after the end of the Second World War with the intention of
protecting the allied countries from another possible attack of the enemy, among which is Russia.

According to the above before I say in which position I am, it should be clarified that always in this
context each of those involved defends personal interests and the interests of his nation to play an
important role in the global arena and defend its sovereignty, according to the above I must say
that I am against this military operation that Russia is carrying out in Ukraine, not only because it is
a violation of international treaties of which Russia is part, but also because this military operation
has exceeded the limits of attacking only military facilities, and Russian missiles are being sent to
cities and residential buildings that have nothing to do with the conflict, besides Russia being a
world power can not pressure neighboring countries to somehow protect or are in favor of the
interests of Russia, each country has complete autonomy to make their decisions and perform
them as they decide throughout its territory.

Finally I finish by saying that Russia being such an influential and developed country has a
superiority over Ukraine to subdue it at any time, it is clear that Russia with this military operation
wants to warn any country that wants or intends to affect the national security that it is ready to
act, but this does not mean that to protect the national security of Russia can invade its
neighboring countries, and put at risk the lives of civilians who have nothing to do with the
conflict, or even take over the territory of Ukraine just so that it does not belong to the European
Union or the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, since Ukraine since the separation of the Soviet
Union is an independent nation that can make its decisions without consulting anyone.
