Amazing food, service staff and cruise meet and greet of the
patrons. While we cruised on the Sydney 2000. One would think
you were on a 5 star Ocean liner. A very smooth trip around the
Chris “Ace” Williams Sydney Harbour with great views inside and on observation
areas, that allowed for great photo opportunities.
Highly recommend this service and what they offer for the price.
I had a sensational NY Eve on board the CC Sydney.

The food was excellent as was the beverage selection.

Wow. Am I glad we went ahead and did this cruise because I

was considering not booking. We did the early lunch time cruise
and it was phenomenal. The food was amazing - so tasty and
one of our party members is normally a picky eater and she
absolutely loved all of the 3 course meal. The price was very
well worth the cruise and if anything, I was surprised that the
cruise was on the cheaper side. We boarded on time and went
to the lounge where we ordered drinks before heading upstairs
to another level where lunch would be served. On the boat, it
stops at another location to pick up more people and it does a
few rounds of the harbour and you can get off at anytime
wherever you like (ours stopped at King St Wharf and Circular
Key). I had the salmon for my main meal and it was the nicest
salmon I have ever eaten. The other members of our party had

coconut desert and it was amazing! On our way out, 2 of us
went up the top deck where there was absolutely no one and
we saw the Sydney harbour bridge and opera house with no
one obstructing our views! It was so well organised, the staff
were very friendly and they would ask if you were in a rush to
get off the boat at a particular point as they would then bring
your meal out quicker. It was so relaxing sitting in the sun
coming through the windows, watching the world go by and
seeing many Sydney iconic things. I highly recommend and will
more than likely return to do this cruise again - the food was
amazing as was the service, the cruise itself, the boat was
clean. I cannot say enough good things about this cruise. It
needs 6 stars, not 5!
We have done the Australia Day cruise a few times and its
always a great night however this year was disappointing as the
sound system for the concert and fireworks was not working so
it lacked the normal atmosphere we were expecting. Also the
2nd course of food didn't come out early enough before the
Barbara Popa night events started as we went up on deck to watch them so
we had to wait till the show finished to eat which was far too
late.
However the staff were great and it was excellent value and we
will rebook next year hoping these issues won't repeat
themselves.
We went for the Solstice Sunset Dinner cruise and it was,

overall, a good cruise. We loved the ambiance inside and the
food was not too bad (not the best but still enjoyable).
However, I don’t think it’s worth the price. We used the Discover
NSW voucher so prices weren’t such a big deal, but I would
probably never pay the original price of $99/pers.
It was also way too rushed. I especially wanted to enjoy my time

by going on the deck and chill; but as we were both very
hungry, we thought to first wait for the main meals. The mains

took 40min to go out; leaving us starving and trying to fill
ourselves up with bread. Then the last 20min of the cruise was
rushed between eating the desserts, going on the deck for a
(very very) quick walk and then it was over.
2h is a bit short for a cruise, but they could have organised it

better by serving the main meals closely after the entrees, and
leaving some time before the desserts for people to chill, walk
around and enjoy. Instead, we spent most of the 2h hungry and
waiting for the main meals to go out. But, there’s definitely
potential for this cruise, it just needs a better organisation.
On holidays from Melbourne and we had the perfect day for this
delightful cruise.

We did the 7.30pm brilliant dinner cruise on Friday December

4th. The cruise was discounted from $159 to $100 which was
good value. We were delighted to have a window seat which we
Anne McMillan didn’t pay extra for. We enjoyed our 4 course meal & the
choices in each course. Dessert was our favourite. Excellent
service, great live music. The highlight was the dusk & night
views of Sydney Harbour. Highly recommend this cruise.
Awesome sunrise cruise with Channel 7 Sunrise team,

Beverley Holmes Foodbank, ROA and LifeLine. Friendly staff, all in all a great
experience.
We booked the Penfolds Gold six course degustation dinner.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Service was above
and beyond what we expected. Our server was so nice and
welcoming, and anticipated everything we possibly wanted. The
Mary van Goor food definitely lived up to our expectations, the flavours were
fresh and delicious, the gluten free options were beautiful. The
wines paired perfectly with the food selection. Great value for
money and a fabulous time. Highly recommend doing two
circuits of the harbour, otherwise it could feel a bit rushed.

delicious dishes and drinks to your table right next to the
window, relaxing to some live music in the background. We've
been back twice and will be going back again, thanks to the
Jason Elk consistently friendly welcome, excellent service, tasty food,
exceptional value for money and a great afternoon out. P.S.
Unlike some other cruises, you can book a window table where
you both have a view - without one of you with your back to the
window! CCC can't be beat.
We finally got to do our 42nd Wedding Anniversary Harbour

Cruise Dinning on Captain Cooke Cruise on our 44th Wedding
Anniversary and we were not disappointed. Besides the
Denice Ashdown weather being absolutely Beautiful and the Sydney Harbour so
Gorgeous, the staff wre great and our 3 course meal was

This was our second Golden Penfolds Harbour Cruise after
having our first on the occasion of our Golden Wedding
anniversary two years ago. This time we elected for the 5.30
time slot so we could see the sights around the harbour
unfortunately the weather wasn’t very good which detracted
from our enjoyment.

yesterdays cruise the food was not up to the same standard on
the 6 course degustation menu. Our wedding anniversary
celebration was only enjoyable due to the attention of our
steward Scott who really was excellent and should be
commended.

This was my first Captain Cook Cruise which was with ITGA,
also my first social.
Prior to this, I'd only been on Sydney harbour ferries before.
Captain Cook Cruises are the epitome of quality, luxury, dining
& cruising & they live up to their name & high standards.
The lounges are elegantly thought out with comfort in mind &
the service is excellent.
We were shown to our allocated seats, (group booking function)
which were super comfy, & shown how to order food & drinks
via scanning the barcode on our table no. which then gave you

the option of starting your own tab.
No sooner had I ordered my first drink, it had arrived.
Our table ordered the Fat Chips & Charcuterie.
Food & drinks are over priced, (the wine is extremely marked
up) but this is a luxury dining experience afterall. Having said
that, the chips in my opinion weren't anything special, & the
Charcuterie wasn't anything fancy either.
We did however take advantage of the Happy Hour drinks!
All in all though, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience & would
definitely recommend Captain Cook Cruises.
Had a wonderful 3 hours on the Sydney 2000 on Sydney

Harbour. The service personnel were truly professional and
MySandyk friendly, the food was excellent, especially the Tiramisu dessert
(yummy), and everything made for a wonderful day on the

Could not fault any details of our luncheon cruise onboard the
Sydney 2000 on Friday 05/11/2095. From the very helpful front
office to all onboard the vessel we were treated as prized

My father (93) and I (63) went on a lunch cruise with a window

table /seats. The service by all staff was very good and food
tasted really nice. I am very fussy re food and it was delicious.

on for something else. Not really explained by the company as
to how this works.
I took my aunt on the lunch cruise for her 92nd birthday on

Sunday. It was a beautiful day on the harbour and the staff and
crew of the Captain Cook lunch cruise were so wonderful. They
took all the time needed to get my aunt up the stairs and settled
Chris Kelly at her table. We had a delicious lunch and a glass of bubbles
and then the staff made a huge fuss of her with her birthday
cake with the whole ship sing happy birthday to her. I can't
thank them enough for giving her such a wonderful day. A
fantastic celebration. Thank you.
We had such a great day on the Top Deck lunch cruise! Service
Michele Perry was fabulous, very prompt as well. Cocktails were yummy! Food
wasn’t amazing but it was okay. We will be back!
Although it was nice to spend time with loved ones on the
harbour, this high tea is not value for money.
No table water was provided; we were limited to one cup of tea

or coffee per person (in my experience, it is normal for high tea
to cover unlimited tea and coffee); the coffee was very poor
quality; the menu was not accurate (e.g. the mango and
coconut custard tart was replaced with a kiwi fruit, mandarin and
Stephanie Gill strawberry custard tart - we didn’t mind the substitution but it
seems unprofessional to list incorrect items on a menu); and
overall the quality of the food was disappointing compared to
other high teas we have attended (e.g. clearly cheap chocolate
used on the chocolate dipped strawberries).
High tea on the harbour is a nice idea but I wouldn’t recommend

spending $75 on this trip. Better just to book a cruise and go for
high tea somewhere with higher quality food and drinks.
Initially my wife and i were disappointed that our 7.30 dinner

cruise had been cancelled and we were given the option of 5.30
cruise. On arrival we realised that the reasons were very valid
with so few patrons on board.'
We had a fabulous experience and excellent food and service
making it a special night out.
We were gobsmacked at all the empty seats and realised the
huge impact that COVID has had on this business. The staff

indicated the issues they would face after the end of Jobkeeper
and before the return of International Travellers.
It is 34 years since our first Captain Cook dinner cruise and we
have enjoyed many lunch, dinner and high tea cruises and feel
quite sad that they could be in this position because of COVID.
We will definitely be back this year for another dinner cruise and
ask all people to consider this as a special night out.
Once again we were lucky with the weather, the cruise was
graet and the food cooked to perfection, in fact I had positive

It was my birthday lunch, we were both super impressed with

The food was excellent and the wines were delightful. However,
to advertise “up to two trips” around the harbour and only do
one. Forcing guests to have only a 90 minute gold Penfold’s
Katrina Benson experience. 90 minutes for 6 wines leads to forcing drinking or
no time to savour, enjoy or relax in a meal. It was hardly worth
the money. My partner and I would never do a degustation such
as this again with such poor arrangements.

Had my 2.5 year old son on board with me for mothers day and
triedordering hot chips but was advised in this exact wording
"his an infant and infants don't eat!" I offered to pay money for
some type of food as my almost 3 year old eats and they said
they will see what they can do for me and never came with food
