Third conditional/past unreal conditional

When do we use it? It´s an imaginary situation in the past. We are imagining that something happened in the past and the
consequence of that.

+ If I had taken a trip last year, I would have gone to Oaxaca. (we are imagining that we took a trip last year)
If + sent. Past perfect + s + modal + have + v.p.p + co

- If I hadn´t taken a trip last year, I would have stayed in my house.


If + sent past perfect (aff, neg) + s + modal (aff/neg) + v.p.p + co

? Could you have bought a house if you had had the money?
Modal + sentence present perfect + if + sentence in past perfect?
