IOS sports and entertainment is one of the oldest and leading sports management groups in the
country. Started in 2005 and counts among others, some of the best sportspersons India has witnessed
since Beijing 2008 Olympics up to the recently concluded Tokyo 2020 Olympics and well poised to
leverage upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.

IOS has 40+ world class athletes that it exclusively manages as well as, Indian Olympic Association (IOA)
and several federations in varied sports disciplines that it has exclusive marketing rights for.

IOS is poised for 10x growth in coming 5 years and is looking for top talent to help scale the business.

The role:

We are recruiting high performing business development professionals with a proven track record of
exceeding business sales and revenue generation targets and closing sponsorship/endorsement deals
with Brand Heads / Marketing Heads / CMOs / CEOs. You will be an individual contributor at Manager /
Senior Manager level. You may have one or two team members at AGM level. You will report to either
Business Head or CEO, as required. You are either currently in Delhi or Mumbai and if not, then keen to
relocate to either of these cities with a greater interest to be in Mumbai.

Key Results expected:

You will be assigned a business sales and revenue generation target depending on the level you are
being hired for. It may be in the range of $1 M - $3 M annually in the first year.

Ideal Candidate:

1. You bring with you two – ten years of work experience focused on Sales and/or Business
Development.

2. If you don’t have previous sales/BD experience but can convince us that you have the drive (fire
in the belly) and a plan along with a high-quality business network of potential buyers (to
compensate for the lack of experience), then we may still be open to your candidature (as an
exception).
 3. You love sports and not just cricket. You may not play any sports (anymore) but you love
watching it or keenly follow what’s happening in India and the rest of the world. The more
diverse your sports interests, the better. If you can recall Athletes, their sports, their
accomplishments, and celebrate their achievements then even better!

4. You have a sense of translating your passion/interest into commercial engagements. While it’s
great to be willing to learn & you may be a quick leaner, it’s also business at the end of the day.

5. You are able to bring to life this translation of your commercial thinking by backing it up with a
track record for overachieving your business- or work-related targets.

6. In the past you’ve put in the rigor, discipline, diligence required while maintaining your focus on
the end goal. Be it work or sports or studies or life!

7. You can deal with rejection. Let’s be honest here… sales and BD isn’t easy and you can face a lot
of rejection. So, you need to be willing to keep moving until you receive enough ‘Yes’ from few
to several targeted prospects (depending on the deal size you bring to the table).

8. You will enjoy seeking out, reaching out, and meeting up with potential buyers, it must be done
on a consistent basis and you will need to self-manage your funnel, pipeline, and morale.

9. You have the ‘Eye of the Tiger or Tigress’. This means you will not settle for anything less than
what has been agreed and in fact will push your way through challenges to make things happen.

10. You are excited about the opportunity to earn 2x – 3x of your fixed salary by our uncapped
incentives scheme. The more the merrier and we all can be happy!
