Stuttgart/Munich. The exclusive lifestyle-brand Porsche Design has teamed up with Hollywood star Patrick
Dempsey to launch a new campaign for its 2021 Eyewear collection.
The American actor is best known for his role as Dr. Derek ‘McDreamy’ Shepherd in the medical TV drama series
Grey’s Anatomy, which netted him two Golden Globes. He is currently starring in the international hit series
“Devils”. When he is not on set, Patrick Dempsey follows his greatest passion, motor sport, which keeps him
closely aligned with the Porsche Design brand. Patrick is an accomplished race car driver and has successfully
completed several 24 Hours of Le Mans races in addition to co-founding his own racing team, Dempsey-Proton
Racing. Be it as an actor, director, race car driver or athlete, Patrick Dempsey has always followed his vision
and continuously strives for the best in himself and all of his projects. Thanks to his likable and authentic
personality, he is the ideal brand ambassador for Porsche Design Eyewear. Not only do the Hollywood star and
the exclusive lifestyle brand have the same initials – PD – they also share the same passion for precision and
perfection.
As of January 2021, Patrick Dempsey will be the face of the new, innovative Porsche Design Eyewear collection,
and will be featured wearing four timeless and innovative models of sunglasses and prescription glasses
throughout the year.

Porsche Design will bring the campaign to life with creative, eye-catching digital content, multiple window
campaigns featuring exclusive marketing material, attractive point of sale material and extensive PR and social
media activations.
