Course Goals
The main aim of the course is to teach areas of work for clinical psychologists, their roles,
responsibilities and ways of becoming a well-equipped clinical psychologist, psychopathology, to
handle the topics such as psychopathology, assessment methods and psychotherapy approaches with
the main lines.

Assessment
Midterm % 40
Final % 60
Midterm (40%): The midterm will be in person. It will include the chapters covered until the exam
and may consist of multiple-choice, true-false, and short essay questions.
University’s make-up policy will be followed. If you do miss an exam and have no valid and
well-documented excuse, you will be assigned a 0 for that exam and will not be allowed to re-
place it with the make-up exam.
If a make-up exam is scheduled, it may vary in format from the scheduled exam.
Make-up or resit examination will be in essay or fill-in-the-blanks format without any key
words.
Final (40%): The final will be in person. It will include the chapters covered after the midterm exam
and may consist of multiple-choice, true-false, and short essay questions.
Note: The instructor reserves the right to alter items in this syllabus via verbal instruction in class. The student is
responsible for taking notes of any such change(s) and acting accordingly.
