lead-time requirements to meet deadlines for release of materials to support the
goals for shipping date. Developed and delivered to suppliers forecasts based u
pon sales goals, historical trends, and current usage trends to negotiate best c
osts. Worked closely with suppliers in Ireland, Hungary, the US, and the Netherl
ands to introduce new products and sustain on time delivery of all products afte
r release. Managed worldwide simultaneous releases of all products on ship date

ycle of software for both software and hardware product lines, application softw

Buyer/planner and production coordinator for computer games developer and manuf
acturer affiliated with Electronic Arts. Purchased all supplies and services for
the support of a company of 260 employees and the raw materials for the product
ion of games for the retail industry. Negotiated with ten different printers, di
skette duplicators, and fulfillment companies for the new release and sustaining
of product lines that shipped as many as 115,000 units to multiple retailers an
d locations. Developed all bills of materials for products by obtaining informat
ion from the product development teams and creative services. Maintained schedul
e for all departments to provide their input in a timely manner to support the s
hipping schedules and supplier lead times. Managed all logistics, receiving, shi
pping, inventories in remote locations, and transport logistics to obtain timely
delivery of all components to achieve requested nationwide ship date. Maintaine
d a reorder budget of seven percent cost of goods sold for all the products. Man
aged inventory at remote locations to ensure all new orders and reorders were fi
lled as required. Negotiated with suppliers to minimize obsolescence costs and r
educe costs to attain budget desired.
