development for various fossil fuel power plant upgrades / maintenance projects
and an office building renovation ($4m), developed detailed outage schedules fo
r maintenance / upgrades for coal-fueled power plant, baseline schedule developm
ent for peaking power gas turbine plant ($135m), feasibility study / schedule an
alysis: long term replacement / enhancement / implementation PSEG peaking power

school project (1000+activities, Primavera), scheduling modifications and mitiga
tions to work around change order impacts on the Government Service Agency (GSA)
$million US Courthouse demolition project and updating progress on NYC DED $10

oject Manager responsible for cost control, planning and scheduling using Primav
era software for the new $400 million Terminal One project at JFK Airport. Revie
wed existing budgets and cost reports, equated actual field progress against bas
eline schedule, modified logic, cost analysis, developed mitigation in associati
on with project team and provided project progress and updates of critical path

340 KWp photovoltaic array on the new Aquatic Center for the 1996 Summer Olympic
s. Consultancy on the PV vendor selection and procurement, design review, field
monitoring of construction and project planning and scheduling and start-up conf
ormance of the Project Team members to insure project completion. According to t
he Department of Energy Solar Electric Building Overview at the time, 'The total
array had an area of some 3043 m2 and was the largest in the world'. Project co
mpleted on schedule. Managed the design and construction of a unique 4 Kwp utili
ty grid-interconnected power array at Kopernik Space Science Center for New York
State Electric and Gas (NYSEG). Responsible for total project management to inc

e Center, NY. Planning, Scheduling and Cost Engineer responsible for implementin
g a computerized distributed PC based cost monitoring, planning and scheduling u
sing MS Windows, Excel and Projects for the Aviation Engineering and Design Divi
sion. The system monitored the activities and compared the actual versus planned
schedule requirements of a design staff of approximately 130 comprised of profe
ssional engineers, project managers, consultants and both in-house and offsite c
ontract technical engineers specializing in ten (10) engineering disciplines to
include architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing / fire protection
, electrical, geotechnical, specifications, traffic and environmental. Supported
the Project Executives and staff that serviced the annual design and constructi
on requirements at Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark Airports of approximately 300 p
rojects with varying design budgets and in different design stages from Stage I
- Studies and Feasibility, Stage II - Preliminary Design, Stage III - Final Desi
gn to stage IV - Construction. Specifically responsible to develop, monitor and
update the design schedule in association with the PANYNJ Project Manager on the
new $100 million International Arrivals Building at Newark Airport. 1991-1993
* NYC School Construction Authority, Public School 173 Board of Education Projec
t, New York, NY. Project Manager assigned to expedite the completion of the noto
rious former $10 million PS173 Board of Education school project turned over to
the newly formed NYC School construction Authority. The project was approximatel
y 75% complete, but behind schedule and embroiled in contract disputes and cost
overruns. Completed this building and close-out for SCA acceptance. 1990-1991
* NYC Housing Preservation and Development, Lehrer / McGovern / Bovis, South Bro
nx, New York Project Manager administrating on the NYC Housing Preservation and
Development (HPD) $100 million gut renovation of 900+ apartments in 14 abandoned
buildings in the South Bronx as part of the HPD / LMB Project Team. Responsibil
ities included contract administration, scheduling / updating of all project sta
ges (Primavera), supervision and control of 1,500+ technical submittals per Corp
s of Engineer procedure and review, analysis and processing of 500+ change order
s. 1988-1990
* UJA Federation HUD, Long Island, New York. Project Manager Owner's Representat
ive for the UJA Federation on their sponsored $14 million HUD administrated 300
bed geriatrics facility at Commack, Long Island. Provided on-site assurance of b
udget, schedule and quality requirements, project analysis, schedule monitoring,
cost control, project meetings and review
of HUD and Owner changes and provide monthly reporting of project conformance to
UJA Federation. 1986-1988
* MTV Network's Headquarters, Abcon Associates, New York, NY. Project Manager fo
r all phases of the procurement, planning and scheduling and construction of the
new $8 million MTV Network's headquarters at 57th Street and Broadway. Project
required demolition and rebuild of 80,000 ft2 in an expedited 8 month completion
schedule. Duties included bidding administration and evaluation, contract negot
iations for procurement and construction and direct management and responsibilit
y for conformance of the project quality, budget and scheduling requirements. Co
mpleted project on schedule. 1985-1986
* Glen Cove Building Complex, GEO Group, Long Island, NY. Project Manager on a $
1.6 million building complex that included the 'Grand Cafe' Restaurant, retail s
pace and a professional recording studio. Managed estimates and refined budget,
development of the construction schedule, administration of bidding, selecting,
negotiating and awarding contracts. Managed the administration and performed the
direct field supervision of contractors to insure quality construction and comp
letion of the project on schedule and within budget. Completed project as an ind
ependent Project Manager to the Owner. 1984-1985
* Space Shuttle Launch Complex, Martin Marietta Company, Vanderberg AFB, CA. Pla
nning Administrator managing the planning and scheduling of two major facilities
within
the new Space Shuttle Launch Complex. Specific duties included analysis and revi
ew of subcontractor work efforts, review of material procurement status, effects
of facility change notices, schedule assessments for impact, workaround and rec
overy efforts due to material shortage, engineering slippage and daily and weekl
y overall review of project schedule, planning and completion efforts. 1983-1984
* Peace Sun F-15 AFB, Khamis, Saudi Arabia. Deputy Project Manager of the techni
cal administration for 14 F-15 technical facilities for a consortium of Saudi co
ntractors. The project was controlled and administrated for the Saudi Arabian go
vernment by the United States Corps of Engineers. Duties included development, i
mplementation of all subcontractor and supplier technical data and drawings, mon
itoring and expediting the shipment of $12.6 million of USA purchased equipment
and material by traveling between Saudi Arabia and NYC procurement office and th
e analysis of change order technical data and material. Completed one (1) + cont
ract. 1981-1982
* Helmsley Palace Hotel, Newsday Printing Plant / Editorial Office and Columbia
University Dormitory Projects, Morse / Diesel, New York, NY. Field Superintenden
t responsible for supervising the field activities by assisting the General Supe
rintendent during various stage of construction on the new $100 million Helmsley
Palace Hotel, the new $40 million Newsday printing plant and editorial offices
and the new $28 million student dormitories and humanities building at Columbia
University. Duties included the expediting and coordination of subcontractors, s
ite administration and insuring that construction conformed to plans, specificat
ion and schedule. 1978-1981
* Peace Hawk F-5 Air Force Base, George A. Fuller, Taif, Saudi Arabia. Planning
and Scheduling Engineer responsible for managing the planning and scheduling on
the Peace Hawk F-5 Air Force Base construction at Taif, Saudi Arabia. Project co
ntrolled and administrated for the Saudi Arabian government by the United States
Corps of Engineers. Duties included the development, implementation and monitor
ing of schedules for twenty-three (23) F-5 technical and administration faciliti
es and the conduct of weekly coordination meetings to insure progress. Managemen
t acknowledged my efforts as a significant contribution towards the successful c
ompletion of the project. Completed four (4) month contract: 1977-1978
* Pullman Kellogg (M.W. Kellogg) Engineering Office, Hackensack, NJ. Planning an
d Scheduling Engineer responsible for managing the implementation of a CPM sched
uling system at the new Pullman Kellogg engineering office in New Jersey. Develo
ped the system to coordinate the activities of the management, engineering, proc
urement and construction department in order to control the design and construct
ion of large industrial projects, particularly chemical urea production plants f
or agricultural fertilizer. The scheduling function included site visits, prelim
inary construction planning, developing and monitoring logic networks, manpower
analysis, oversee computer input and graphics, coordination with project and eng
ineering management and procurement status review of material and equipment. By
reducing the overall control effort, proved to management and clients the value
of CPM scheduling. 1974-1977
* Broadway Department Store Section / Metro Center Regional Mall, Del E. Webb, P
hoenix, AZ. Project Engineer responsible for managing the project engineering at
different stage on a $10 million Broadway department store that was an anchor b
uilding to the new Metro Center regional mall and a $8 million university scienc
e center. Additional duties included site layout, in-house estimating and drafti
ng, engineering coordination, expediting and control of subcontractors to insure
that construction conformed to plans and specifications. The department store c
onstruction was four months behind schedule when assigned and was completed on s
chedule. 1973-1974
* Baker Brother Properties, Phoenix, AZ. Project Coordinator / Field Superintend
ent responsible for coordination the scheduling, preparing subcontractor bid pac
kages, arranging subcontracts, controlling engineering and interfacing with the
architect and monitoring construction at the site to insure that construction co
nformed to specification on a molded plastics manufacturing plant. Completed $43
6 thousand project on schedule. 1973
* K&H Construction, Phoenix, AZ. Engineer's Aide and general construction work o
n a commercial warehouse addition. 1972
* Horn Construction, Long Island, NY. Union Carpenter - Carpenter / Laborer on v
arious heavy construction projects which included a subway station expansion, a
new sewage treatment plant and new pier construction for an elevated section of
