Dear Shajee Ahmed,

Good news! You have been recommended for admission to the Computer Science program for the Fall
2022 semester at Wichita State University. As of today we are missing one or more of the following
materials in order to finalize your admission:

● Certification of Financial Support (CFS) Form - International applicants must prove that they
have the financial ability to pay for their tuition, books, and living expenses while they study in the
U.S. This is a WSU form that is required. Please click on the link and fill it out. You can find an
example of this form below:

● Financial Support Document - Typically bank statements, scholarship offers, or other evidence
of funds. Your funds must meet the total amount required on the Certification of Financial Support
form. Bank statements must match your sponsor on the CFS form.
● Degree Certificate - Certificate showing the award of any higher education degrees earned
(Bachelors, Masters, PhD). Graduate students must show they have completed a bachelors
degree or equivalent in order to start a graduate program. Please note: If you have just recently
completed a degree and do not yet have your degree certificate, that is fine. You can be admitted
tentatively.

● Acceptable English Proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo) - Applicants whose native

language is not English must submit proof of acceptable English proficiency. To be acceptable, the
score must meet our minimum requirements as outlined on our website. DO NOT UPLOAD
SCORES THAT DO NOT MEET MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS. They will be removed. Note that
some of our programs have a higher score requirement that must be met.

To check and see what you are missing to complete your admission, view the checklist in your
application portal. Please make sure to upload all missing items to the correct corresponding document
selection, otherwise there may be a delay in clearing your admission and sending an i-20.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Please note: If admitted, upon arrival at WSU, you will be required to bring all official missing items and submit them to the graduate school or international office upon
check-in. Test scores must be sent directly from the testing center to be considered official. To be considered official, foreign transcripts and degree/provisional
certificates must bear an original stamp or seal from the issuing university or college.  Plain copies and/or notarized copies are not acceptable. Original transcripts,
degree /provisional certificates are not required, however, photocopies must be attested and include an original signature and stamp or seal in English from the
issuing university or college.

Sincerely,
WSU Graduate School
