Thank you for downloading “EXTERNAL BALLISTICS”.

With this APP you will have a tool to calculate precisely

your ballistic tables, the real value of your clicks and the CB (ballistic
coefficient) of each single ammunition.
Let's find out the functions and how to set the APP with your data.

NB: the APP works with ammunition that have a Mathematical Coefficient G1
BASIC SETTINGS

At the first start you will be asked which metric system to use.
If we have not activated geolocation on the smartphone, once the program is started, a screen
will open asking for the GPS to be unlocked. We will then have the altitude data once the
program is started.

This is the basic settings screen. At the top right

there is " SET1 "( bullet menu).

By clicking on SET1
we would have access to
ammunition
preset, of course
all editable from
settings screen
base.
We select the SET that we
want to edit e
let's go back to the screen
basic settings.

We can modify the Projectile Name, Caliber, Weight, CB, Speed

and Zero ( the distance of our 0)

Here we can set the range of the ballistics table, and

the steps ( in the example shown here the table
starts from 9 m. and reaches 50 m. with data every
meter).

The Increment can also be 0.5 meters. , very useful in Field Target for shorter distances.

If the GPS of the smartphone has been activated we will

have the precise altitude, the temperature must be entered
manually as the wind speed.

It is also possible to set a negative value in the altitude box.

2
OPTICS

At the bottom left we have the button named "OPTICS", which

opens the menu relating to the parameters of your
telescope.

Set the data relating to the height of your telescope, and the
value of the clicks ( 1 / 4MoA, 1 / 8MoA, 1/10 MRAD, 1/20
MRAD and manual).
With "OK" confirm and return to the Basic
Settings screen.

GRAPHIC

With this key we have access to the fall chart, with the
possibility of setting the display of the kill zone, the size of
the kill zone and display the values in cm on the graph ( these
data can be modified using the key with

three points top right).

The screen contains the keys relating to saving

the graph as an image and
when sending.

3
TABLE

By accessing the table we will have a lot of data relating to

the ballistics of our ammunition:
speed, fall, clicks, MOA, MILDOT, POI, Site
corners etc.
All can be activated via the button Three points top
right.
Ability to save the table and send it as an excel
file.

On the side are reported all the data that can be inserted
in the table. To enter data, slide the cursor towards ON

Absolute novelty:
possibility of having in a single table also the
preset site angles with a deviation of 5 °, starting
from an angle of 10 ° up to
35 °.
( Very useful in the Field Target area)

ADVANCED FUNCTIONS

In the Basic Settings screen we access the menu Advanced Features

using the key with i three points. ( advanced functions menu: calculate CB, calibrator
clicks, angle converter, unit converter, settings and instructions.)

Ballistic Coefficient Calculator

By inserting the initial speed, final speed and the distance between the
two detections, the ballistic coefficient of the bullet is calculated. It is
advisable to calculate it manually to have more precise calculations.

The temperature and altitude must be entered

from the main screen.

5
Clicks value calculator

To calculate the real value of a click of your optic, proceed as follows.

• Place a crosshair target at a maximum repeatable
distance (shots on the usual hole). This will be the
distance in meters to be reported in the calculator.

• Secure the weapon well and aim at the center of the cross, make
the first shot and the second for confirmation in the usual hole.

• Give at least one turn of the turret to raise by counting

clicks. The number of clicks can be chosen at will. These
are the clicks to be reported in the calculator.

• Repeat the two shots always keeping the gun fixed

and always aiming at the center of the target's cross.

• Measure the distance between the centers of the two

holes with a caliper.
This will be the vertical distance in cm to be
reported in the calculator.
After entering the last data you will see the results as in
the example of the image.

By clicking on the “use it” button the MoA / Click value will be inserted
automatically in the optics setting.

SETTINGS

Lighting: to keep the display always on.

Altitude from GPS: by default it is on. With this

function enabled, the altitude is automatically taken
from the GPS. If instead you want to set an altitude
that is not the current one, then you must disable
this setting.

Unit of measure: you can choose to use units

metric or imperial.
Attention, the SET of bullet settings are independent between the
two units, therefore the conversion will not take place between the
switching between one unit and the other.

E-mail: to be used when sending tables or graphs.

Information: here are various information such as:
