PROPOSAL TITLE : NIGHT OF NEON
1.0 PURPOSE
This paper seeks the approval of the top management of the Institute of Industrial
Technology, University of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (MITEC) for a proposal to make an
event that is Neon Night to be held in UNIKL MITEC field.
2.0 BACKGOUND
Neon Nights is about an activity that involve staff and student in saving the earth by not
using electricity during that event. Rather than wasting the electricity, this event is about
encouraging the citizens of UNIKL MITEC to be frugal in using electricity while taking
baby steps to save the earth.
Besides, Earth Hour were organized by the either UNIKL MITEC students or lectures,
staff and public. Our team plans have drafted this event that consists of activity for
showing what the uniqueness of this event among people with the night that shine with
the lamp and colorful and experiencing the beautiful night while joining the activities we
planned for. In addition, the most purpose of this event are keeping a good relationship,
make new friends, release mind among communities and students for a while.

LED neon lighting is a more environmentally friendly method than glass neon lighting
because it uses less than half the power of a glass neon fixture and less than nearly twice
the power of a fluorescent light. LED neon lighting is not only a great way to create an
overall lighting effect and saves electricity power. As a human, we should aware the
responsibility to save electricity that we have used a lot in the last thousand years ago. In
this we can see that without electrical facilities, human still can live and continue doing
their daily life by enjoy the God’s creature. Each of participants able to participate in
different atmosphere than usual. We hope the participant of all parties will results a
successful program.

5.0 JUSTIFICATION
This project will make collaborate with RCC and SRC UNIKL MITEC for the promotion
of Non-Resident and Resident Student that drives car into campus. A poster will be
created for promoting the event with SRC and RCC collaboration in social media such as
Instagram and Facebook. Other than that, the poster will be spread to every resident
group. This collaboration will help students expose for this event.
6.0 CONCLUSION
This paper seeks approval from the top management of the University Kuala Lumpur
Malaysia Institute of Industrial Technology (MITEC) for the purposed Night of Neon to
be held at the UNIKL MITEC availability venue inside the campus of UNIKL MITEC.
