The purpose of this assignment is to catalogue and articulate the triangular relationship that
exists between individuals within and outside of your organization, the social consciousness
of the communities within and outside of your organization, and the corporate culture, brand
and identity of the organization. The themes associate with these three distinct groups that
are part of an ongoing discussion throughout this course look at how these three pillars
interact, engage, and impact the development of communities in and around your
organization. The overall goal here is to develop an in-depth understanding of participatory
media consumption – including the creation of media and content – by stakeholders,
employees, customers and industry leaders and how this has an impact on the individual, the
communities that they are a part of, and their place within the organizational structure and
context.
The goal here is to develop and show evidence of an in-depth knowledge of the impact that
interconnected behavioural constructs that govern digital presence across cultural
boundaries are key factors in understanding the potential impact that an organization can
curate in a digital space.
Remember: this is about behavior in digital spaces. What are the considerations and
impacts? Please try to avoid strategic management topics that focus on product
design/development/augmentation and/or corporate strategy that pertains to business growth.
The focus is to understand factors that impact the growth and development of positive
communities in digital spaces – both internally and externally.
