Situation : create a logo for a company and you are asked to make the company logo. The
logo will be used to shows what a company does and what the brand values.

3.6 4.6 Pythagoren Theorem


Goal : Make a document about the concept of pyhtagorean theorem that applied on
objects.
Role : Craftsman
Audience : Furniture company
Situation : To get a good quality of your work (furniture) ,you need to make sure or check
the furniture measurement by using pythagorean theorem. The document will be used as a
company data to keep the high quality.
Product : Document
Standard : -choose an object that has right angle
- minimum 5 objects, maximum 10 object
- describe the detail of measurement object
- write the pythagorean theorem formula and the solution
- take photo for each object

Stage 3 – Learning Plan


Learning Activities:

Week 2 Introduction to patterns (give a video showing about “Fibonacci, Golden ratio and the rule of three; The Math of Music – Two minutes music theory #32; Cymatics”, explain
the important of learning this topic and explain the learning objectives)
Explain types of pattern

Week 3 Learn about Arithmetic progression.Give assignment & explain about project
Week 4 Review and continuing Arithmetic progression with word problems
Week 5 Practice word problems questions for Arithmetic progression. Give Assignment
Week 6 Learn about Arithmetic series and world problems. Give Assignment.
Explain about Geometric progression
Last week for submitting the project.
Week 7 Review about square-square roots and types of triangles and a square
Introduction to Pythagorean theorem (explain the important of learning this topic and explain the learning objectives, give an interactive animation about the timeline of
pythagorean theorem)
Week 8 Explore / investigate the pythagorean formula (using tangram, etc)
Explain the project (making a document)
Do assignment online.
