Situation : Council of Mathematics Educators asked you to collect documentation for
research. You need to document learning evidences that will be used as a
reference on further research in finding better ways to understand/teach
integers&fraction and exponent.
Product : Portofolio
Standard : - choices of works that are relevant to topic

3.4-4.4 Set Theory

Goal : create a poster of the concept of subset, null set, universal set and set operations
Role : Statistician
Audience : Observer for Election dday
Situation : in President/Government election day, statician need to grouping the maximum-
minimum age & sex category of citizen as electors in this city and asked you to make a
poster to represent it. The poster will be used as the reference for next year election as a
data.
Product : Poster (Sets operation in president/governor election day)
Standard : Clear, using correct operations from each venn diagram, using interesting and
relevant visual.

Week 2 3rd meeting = INTEGERS. Brainstorming about integers in Elementary class,Motivate the student that integers can be used for any job in contextual problem. Introduction
Integers (give a Youtube video showing about “Antarctica has hottest temperature”, explain the important of learning this topic and explain the learning
objectives)
Learn how to ordering integers using number line, using symbol “<” , “>” to determine the value of an integer.
4th meeting = Learn how to translate integers to from numbers to sentence or vice versa. Give a quiz
Week 3 5th meeting = Ordering and calculate integer. Reflection. Give assignment
6th meeting = Calculate the integers using mathematic operations
Week 4 7th meeting = Word problems and how to solve it. Give assignment.
8th meeting = online test about integers and review
Week 5 9th meeting = EXPONENT.Learn about the concept of exponential form (positive exponent & negative exponent). quiz
10th meeting = FRACTIONS. Introduction Fractions (give a video showing about “baking with fraction”, explain the important of learning this topic and explain the
learning objectives)
Explain about the concept of fractions (proper fractions, improper fractions, mixed number)
Learn how to convert from proper fractions to decimal and improper fractions to mixed number and vice versa. give an assignment.
Week 6 11th meeting = Ordering fractions using number line and without numbe line, give assignment
12th meeting = Understand and know the concept of equivalent fraction. Give online assignment.
Week 7 13th meeting = Practice about equivalent fraction.
14th meeting = Learn how to calculate fractions using mathematics operation (same denominator and different denominator) using GCF and LCM Give Assignment
Week 8 15th meeting = Learn how to calculate fractions using mathematics operation (same denominator and different denominator) using GCF and LCM.
16th meeting = Online test & Review
Week 9 17th meeting = SETS. FRACTIONS. Introduction of Set (give a video showing about )”, explain the important of learning this topic and explain
