Charge:
The PE was charged pursuant to Section 31G of the Professional Engineers Act, thereby been
convicted of an offence involving fraud, dishonesty or moral turpitude or defect in character making
the PE unfit for his profession, in that he had forged a Certificate of Statutory Completion issued by
the Building and Construction Authority.

Verdict:
The Disciplinary Committee found the PE guilty of the charge. He was suspended from practice for a
period of 9 months with effect from 7 September 2020 to 6 June 2021 and ordered to pay costs and
expenses of and incidental to the disciplinary proceedings.
